caught my son pvp today

As some of you know, my 7 year old son likes to play dark souls. But he is ment to play offline, as I don't want him interacting with some of the lowlife players.

Well today I walk in to find him bowing to an invader, he then proceeded to destroy the invader with his MSGS. So I sat down and watched him fight 6 more guys, he only lost 1. He then asked if he could invade as he thought hosting was too easy lol.

I think my son is better at this game than me.

So if you are pvping in the parish and run into someone with Evan at the start of the user name, that's my boy. If you lose, you just got beat by a 7 year old.

I met this Evan guy he sent me a message where he called me a *** *** ****** badger***er ********* ***sleeve *** *** ***lord ***.

IMO 8/10 insult, buy him an icecream or something.

I once invaded a guy and beat him. Did it a few more times. Then he beat me. He sends a message "gud job ****** u just got beet by a 10 yer old". I replied back with some things you shouldn't say to a 10 year old because I figured it was some guy like me trolling. The message back said "This is his dad. I am reporting you. Have a good day ****bag".

Probably a teenager pretending to be the kid then pretending to be his dad.

Awesome! My son plays but he is not such a shinning example :| I caught him spamming some guy to death in the Burg with wotg. I was like hey man not cool! Later I caught him ganking in the Forest. :pale: Then I was like what sl you at son......I think he keeps track of where I'm at so we don't cross paths. The up side is he has helped me stock some of my builds up on materials because he likes trading.

Must, resist urge, to send childhood destroying hatemail.

Coming from Tol, "childhood destroying hatemail" really effing scares me.

For those that wish to fight a 7 year old, he is sl 40 in undead parish. Fair warning, he can parry better than me and likes to pivot bs.

@car you have a good memory, he can now play most areas solo and has beaten all non dlc bosses solo.

@animal, yes I had the sack on lol.

And no it wasn't my son sending hatemail, he is a good boy and sends gg after each fight.

Last but not least, Tolvo if you send my son hatemail, I will reach down my internet line and pull each and every one of your chest hairs out 1 by 1

Well I taught him how to do it when I had him farming DWs for slabs for me, can't really punish him for learning...... It's just bad luck for those he fights that don't know how to stop him.

Little kids have better reflexes in general dude, though DkS is about more than reflexes it boils down to a set of fairly simple skills. You've got a moveset, damage, armor, and a roll. That's about all you have to worry about.

Yes. I like Dark Souls because it focuses a lot on simple fundamental stuff and mastering that. Also the game was very heavily designed NOT to reward reflexes (which I don't particularly like for PvP since it leads to degenerate gameplay, but I think it's cool for PvE).

Congrats Mildred! It almost makes me wish that my wife and I weren't to old to be starting a family. Alas, age catches us all. And for those who know her....kngville has vowed to make a comeback for DkS2, since it will have dedicated servers. For those who haven't played against/with my wife in DeS.....all I can say is that she is probably better at PVP than i am.

Congrats again, Mildred! You are allowed to be a proud parent at this moment. Enjoy.
