Re: Exorcist Build
I think it is the toxic that makes it a hated weapon. I mean bleed can half your hp but then that is it. With toxic you got a gradual effect of hp drain that moves fast. It will kill you fast after a bit.

Well, I use the Gravelord Greatsword when I am in the forest, I rarely use it in duels. In a 2v1, I won with the Gravelord then got hatemail for using an 'unfair' weapon. I chuckled how they were ganging up on me, but I didn't bother them anymore.
Oh, and someone tell me, what does "casul" mean?

I see. They had some skill though, sadly, they used dark magic again and again with no delay.

People hate this joke because it's been used far too much.

I've only heard that joke once or twice.

Are you new here by any chance?
If you are, I'm not surprised.
I've seen so many cases of it being used here in my excessive time spent here, it's just tiresome to see.

I've been a member for a month and a half, but I've been stalking the forums for much longer than that.

Re: Exorcist Build
i think i need to bring up the greatshield as my biggest gripe with this build. with that stat investment you're much better off with black knight or str weapons, way too high for a elemental build imo. also the elemental scaling goes up to 50fth, i strongly suggest to get a lighter shield and reduce str investment. with the extra levels you can either stay @ slvl100 as there is a lot of good action to be had or maximize scaling and/or get higher poise and better roll speed.
f.e.: http://mmdks.com/23l8 this would be a major improvement if you ask me. menu swap to the great scythe or any other 6.0wght weapon you want. i'd try a lighter shield and put a divine composite bow with moonlight arrows in there for really strong magic projectile support.

Re: Exorcist Build
You need to venture further into Off-Topic, Satoshi.
I guarantee you, you'll see more cases of it there. And, judging by my points, I spend a load of time there.

I think his whole point is to make a joke of it. It seems that he posts similar to me. Near everything he says is a joke or a reference to something >_>RenegadeCop wrote:Are you new here by any chance?

Also, I suggest putting the DMB on the Great Scythe, two handing it, don't lock on to the guy and either do the heavy attach or running attack. Heavy attack with the buff can easily one or two hit them, and the running attack you can keep doing it and running to the side, just barely nicking them with how huge the weapon is. Plus, the running attack seems to be it's fastest(and most badass looking) attack. Just watch your stamina. Takes a lot of endurance to pull this off.

Re: Exorcist Build
Those two builds are really viable for combat. Still why replenishment? You could swap it for Karmic justice and deal some surprise damage to anyone spamming.

Re: Exorcist Build
Karmic Justice works kind of funny sometimes, plus, if you mess up right at the beginning of the fight you can run away and heal so you aren't at an instant disadvantage.Soris Ice Goldwing wrote:Those two builds are really viable for combat. I am always cautious about stamina, so I don't think I will have to worry about the running attack.
I made some edits to Xenon's suggestion to get some extra defense on their but maintain a fast roll.

I basically kept full Paladin's, but in return, I decided to use the Parrying dagger instead of the shield so I can keep the weight down. I also replaced Replenishment with Darkmoon Blade because the first time, Replenishment was just for health regeneration, but with some testing, I could tell I didn't need it. I might put Karmic Justice in there if I will fight a spammer.

Re: Exorcist Build
Karmic Justice has it's place and the surprise of it does make it powerful counter or a life saver. Also I think it can suit the exorcist theme nicely.

It's funny, I have never used Karmic Justice because I could never understand it. Is it that if you get hit enough times in a certain time frame, you use a WoTG-like attack?

Re: Exorcist Build
The "skirt" looking armor.
Also Karmic Justice activates while blocking, just as long as you are taking some damage.
So running off to heal is not always necessary.
The effigy would work great in conjunction with Karmic Justice.

So...blocking with a weapon while still taking minor damage can still activate Karmic Justice?

Well, that's really good. It also makes me think. Why not remove the Parrying Dagger if I can just parry with my sword and block with my Halberd/Great Scythe?

Re: Exorcist Build
You could use a grass crest shield or the sanctus for the karmic justice.

Re: Exorcist Build
The Grass Crest Shield might not be the best choice. I know it has the increased stamina regeneration, but I give up fast rolling and using the bow. If I went with the Grass crest, I think my first build would be better due to not losing much and being able to use more spells.
