A new build with a bad name!

It's a archer caster hybrid.

I have Great Lightning Spear and Soul Spear so I don't always have to use arrows, I have Great Combustion for enemies that get close, Fire Tempest for closer enemies, Wrath is for breathing room, and Homing Crystal Soul Mass is if something gets close, the soulmass will get it.

Opinions?

Whats the reasoning behind the BBoP comapred to the short bow or composite?...just damage and distance?

If thats the case, Pursuers might be a nice way to set up "quickscoping headshots", some people just aren't afraid of HCSM anymore....they'll move for Pusuers though, and not many are good at rolling forward through it imo.

You could drop 2 Faith points (WoG only needs 28) and put them somewhere else, perhaps Vit?

Imo, you should use Pursuers as they are a bigger deterrent than standard Soulmasses as rolling through them is riskier and they can't be so easily avoided. Instead of using Wrath, use Force as you get more casts and you can instead use a Stun + Backstab combo as it is more fierce.

You should use CSS for when someone wants to play the arrow game with you. Let's see how they enjoy a spear up there face! Prove to them there is only room for one!

I switched the poise to 28 because you only need enough poise to take an arrow for the range game trades (implying you can poise through arrows) since you won't be very actively engaged in Melee. I also left it at 100 so you can place those 20 extra points to wherever it is your heart desires.

On top of all that...I gave you a Sombrero!

I picked the Black Bow because I just like the name. If the longbow or the Composite is better in every way, tell me >.>

The idea came to me after being bugged once again to play the new Runescape.

There's a boss that uses magic and bows, but no melee. I thought it was a cool concept, but I wanted to put it in a game I liked.

The main benefit of the Black Bow is the S Dex scalling (which would be wasted on a chaos bow) AFAIK, with that concept in mind I think the longbow would be better, perhaps packing some poison arrows for pressure.

On this build, I got it on the very first f***king Balder Knight I killed.

The advantage to the short bow, composite bow, and darkmoon bow is the firing speed.

You can use the longbow or BBoP, but drw speeds are drastically slower, and you'll feel the difference in pvp.

The composite is usually the strongest.

If you want to use a bow that has slow draw/fire speed thats pvp viable, I say go for the Dragon Slayer or Gough's. The drawback speed is snailish, but watch some youtube vids on them and you'll see why I made the suggestion.

Even though you wish to look badass your clothes, I suggest heavier armor. This class can heavily punish people that are slow tanks(Unless they have vow of silence, magic barrier, or Havels shield), I feel like a faster class would mess up your day. All they need to do is fast dodge all your spells, or at least tank one or two, then stun lock and backstab you to all hell. I also suggest a different ring than Hawk ring. Most pvp will make it irrelevant. And might I suggest Tranquil Walk of Peace? It means you will dominate at long range with your spells and if they come close, it is a death sentence. I should know, seeing as your class has the same name as me.
