Nah, you gave him 2 extra vit. Not sure why the original had 13 attunement anyway.
As for the weapon/armor choices, I'm not sure if I understand the Gravelord Sword/Lifehunt Scythe combination. Also a bleed weapon like the painting guardian sword may be better as the secondary offhand, so you can build up some bleed without bleeding yourself before going for a bleed-out with the lifehunt scythe.

Re: Dual wield build
I've used it before, it's an amazing weapon if you want to make people bleed. The downside is the self-bleed, the shorter range than the Great Scythe (I think? It's smaller, so probably) and the inability to be buffed. To combat the self-bleed you'd either use high bleed resistance or a second weapon with bleed.
If I were to make a couple of changes it'd probably look like this. It gives you some extra poise and hp, you now have a long range poke with the spear, and you can bleed people easier. You lose the toxic effect though.

I like it. I didn't think about the painted Gaurdian Sword. Never used that either. SKS is pretty good in left from memory.

Re: Dual wield build
Server does a little more damage for the same moveset off-hand and heals you a tiny bit per hit. You only need 12 Attunement, 13 is uesless. Furysword off-hand is one of the few Curved Swords I even attack with in the off-hand, but that's just me. Bandit can be SL 120 with these stats compared to the 121 of the Warrior. Refer here

Yeah, I had a squiz at that before. It's what made me want to use A curved Greatsword in the off hand. They recover hella fast

Re: Dual wield build
I tried Curved Greatswords off-hand but they only really worked well for surprise hits. If you're using it for that, you've got it down since it's a diagonal slash and fast, plus the recovery is perfect for a combo starter.

Re: Dual wield build
I like the server idea. I think i'll go with that. As for Secondary I think I will use the Painted Gaurdian sword, as it looks pretty neat and scales well.

Re: Dual wield build
The reach on the PGS means you won't be attacking with it much. Falchion would be better for the reach, or Furysword because it does huge damage, even if it is split. I only used PGS when I was using Priscilla's Dagger, it's the only time I even attack with it. But each to their own.

I see your point. I think the falchion will serve me well then. I'm going to be levelling it up offline then using it later, I don't particularly fancy farming Demon titanite all night

All night?
It only takes 5 kills of the titanite Demon in Izalith to get enough for +5 Furysword.

Believe me. I've spent the better part of the day farming humanity and it has left me with some mild physcosis. Especially after losing 10 softies to those freaking humanity evil douche things

Re: Dual wield build
You can get 10 Demon titanite before you even get to the Giant Blacksmith, assuming you pick up every Demon titanite up to that point. So you can get a +5 Furysword up to there. You just have to know where they are.

Re: Dual wield build
Be very careful with that if you're going to be using it offensively. PGS requires very good distance management because of its short range. Practice a bit on the Anor Londo Silver Knight Spearmen if you haven't done so already.Dutchy wrote:As for Secondary I think I will use the Painted Gaurdian sword
I generally find curved swords to be much more viable in the right hand rather than left. You can buff and R1 combo. Or you can use Gold Tracer instead of PSG if you're still going for bleed buildup. Or you can bypass shields with Shotel.

Re: Dual wield build
But I want to get my Scythe up first. Well, I might farm for it anyway and have both on hand. Plus Furysword dominates both four kings and Nito anyyway

Re: Dual wield build
I'd say you should use the Great Scythe so you don't have to worry about bleeding out, especially on a duel-wielding build.
You can also buff it should you get into trouble.

Re: Dual wield build
Get the Furysword first. You're low on demon titanite so use Great Scythe and see if you like how it works. If you don't, then turn it into a Lifehunt.

Nope, I think I've seen it And it was really just for kicks. If it didn't really work for me I was gonna use Great Scythe anyway. As I said. I just wanted to dip my toe in the water so to speak.
