    New Magic?

    What kind of new sorcery, faith, and pyromancy spells you'd like to see in Dark Souls 2?

    I'm assuming Soul Arrow will be back. It looks like he has a spell already but I haven't watch the trailer in awhile so I can't really tell you what it looks like.

    I'm hoping they kinda just change pyromancy into an overall elemental magic class.Add like wind and lighting base attacks, maybe be able to combine certain spells.

    I want Assassin Rush and Multistrike from Fable. lol! In case you have no clue what these are:

    Assassin Rush = Lagstab

    Multistrike multiplies weapon damage by 2 to 5 depending on the spell's level.

    These two spells together = win.

    Seriously, I want more AoE spells for Sorcery. Faith has 6 AoE spells and 3 spells that create an AoE in water. Phyro has 11 AoE spells. Sorcery only has the 2 AoE spells added by the DLC, but it does have 3 spells that go through enemies.

    Less buffs and a magic type that doesn't do high damage but has a very good tracking ability.
    Ex:
    Pursuers currently:
    2k damage
    1.00 speed
    Casts: 3?

    New magic:
    250 damage
    2.00 speed
    casts: 12
    Note: Does not linger

    Pyromancy has the undead rapport spell but its range is so bad you have to pretty much be touching the enemy and it only works on certain people.

    More attack miracles!
    A pyromancy buff like CMW and Sunlight/Darkmoon Blade!
    More dark magic like Dark Bead/Dark Orb/Pursuers!
    More colors in spells other than blue!

    Sigils for sorcery maybe? Or even an occult spell for sigils. By sigils I mean things to buff your own stats/abilities, or to debuff an opponents. But I guess with something like that it could go in many different ways.

    I'm down for some necromancy. I'd love to see some more complex spells come out making being a mage much more interesting than stacking magic buffs and firing ohko soul spears. I'd even love to see someone try the modular spell system from Two Worlds but make it actually work.

    A spell that adds fire damage to a weapon. In both Demon's and in dark, there have been several spells to add magic damage to a weapon (and lightning in Dark) and yet only weak turpentine/resins for fire damage.
    An actual whip made of fire as a spell. (like the whip weapons) Perhaps that will make more sense as lightning, though.
    Avelyn-multishot-like spells.
    Acid Cloud from Demon's Souls back. (Acid Surge in Dark is effectively useless)
    A spell to temporarily increase movement speed and/or decrease equipment burden.
    A ranged arc spell like the Moonlight Greatsword R2s.
    Stone/mineral-themed spells. Especially with Dragons involved, this makes even more sense. A spell that shoots the target straight up like Nito's ground-stab attack as a stone pillar will be awesome.

    Some conjure weapon spells would be great as well. Again making a mage ever more interesting to play as.

    Well if it reduced defense, health, or something of that nature, but if not...you'd be totally right.

    Simply being able to parry+riposte faster, then getting on the back of the guy in half a second and chainstabbing him would completely break PvP and everyone would do whatever's necessary to obtain that spell.

    More on the subject of new spells, wouldn't it be sick if there was some kind of explosive AI-controlled magic orb that could track enemies? I'd love something like that.

    glyph magic;
    the ability to inscribe glyphs on the ground that inflict different effects when stepped on, for example a stun glyph like the fools idol in demons souls uses, also these glyphs could be paried together to form phrases that boost their output for example combining a stun glyph with a damage glyph results in an explosive glyph, however the animation to place a glyph would be only middle speed, about that of a firewhip cast.

    ice is amazing, leave it alone, fire is stupid, more ice, less dragons, more ice, less souls, more ice silly seriously though ice IS an amazing element that should be employed into this game, instead of leaving lava behind it could leave a mist that makes weapons brittle (uses 2 times the amount of durability) no need to make is OP thats just what the non ice believes think ICE POWER
