    So, I was chugging through Sen's yesterday for the millionth time and was just approaching the bonfire. It's always a relief to get there after battling through all the serpents and traps. This time, however, as I neared the ledge my character decided he'd had enough and ninja-flipped right off. Now, I occasionally get a little flip happy as I'm running around, but this time I was no-where near the B button on the controller.

    I chalked it up to some random weirdness and started back from the Parish. As I neared the bonfire a second time, I slowed down my walk, picked up my bloodstain and then lifted my thumb as far above the roll button as possible for the final approach... And the SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! WTF!

    Now, I've seen plenty of laggy inputs in PvP, but only recently have had this issue of phantom button presses. Seems to happen more often with DWGR as well. Oh, and apparently it's more common when I'm right next to a bottomless abyss!

    Anyone else see this behavior?

    I sometimes run up to a point where I have to jump and my character desides to jump right into the cliff without me loosening the B-button xP

    I've had instances lately where my character would decide on his own to cycle both weapons twice, then chug estus.

    I've had weird s*** like that happen too. I'm on Xbox as well and there always seem to be phantom button pressing throughout the game

    I have had quite a few instances of controller lag in pvp lately, this exact scenario has happened 3 or 4 times during the last week: I parry an attack, but nothing happens and instead I just stand there and take the hit head on. I roll away to dodge but then the game decides it's about time to do that parry, better late than never, and it usually leads to another free hit.

    For some reason, my character can randomly roll or jump.

    I can deal with input lag sometimes, I just hate the random ghost inputs.

    I think I've had ghost input once where I jumped off a cliff for no reason.I think I raged a lot since I hadn't pressed B at all.Usually I just get lag input though.

    This has happened twice more to me in the last 24 hours. Once in Chasm of the Abyss and once in Royal Wood. Both times when I was near a cliff and instant death. I swear there must be a subroutine in the code somewhere that reads:

    if playerCharacter() position = nearBottomlessPit
    then execute rollaction()

    I've had my controller change my left-hand equipment, usually during a fight. I think my controller is wearing out and it may be time to pick up a new one (ps3).

    I thought that as well, but then I noticed it only happens in Dark Souls, and this thread confirms that it's not just PS3. I sighed so hard that I didn't have to buy 2 new Dualshocks(already had one die on me).
