Tips for Gravelording?

I'm pretty much a diehard DarkWraith but I wanna try gravelording. any tips or things I should know before I jump in?

from experience it's better to have a pure melee build so you don't have to recharge spells because you will get constantly invaded so you wont be able to use the bonfire between fights, of course you can reset but you lose a eod. alsso make sure you have the right of kindling so you have 20 estus and get them to +7.

the best advice for any would be gravelord is to have a good book close by so you can read between invasions.

High traffic area. So I suggest places like Undead Parish, Blighttown, Sen's Fortress, Anor Londo Oolacile Township... you know, areas with lots of popularity for PVP.

should I get some faith to use the sword dance miracles or is it not worth it? I know the req is 0 but for them to do more damage i mean.

also, should i get the strength for the Gravelord sword?
I usually use dex builds with katanas

and finally, what armors would you say add to the theme while still being functional? decent poise, and/or lightweight?

I wasn't very impressed with the GL miracles when I tried them, but that's just my personal opinion. But if you want to fit the theme, then yeah, perhaps you should use them.

Glgs is good but you're better off going with fire tempest.

Use the Grave Lord miracles in choke points and confined spaces that you lure your enemies into.
