I'm asking this question on behalf of a friend

Post by SlakeMoth on Mon Apr 15, 2013 6:29 am

Well, my son-in-law Andy actually. He was playing on-line the other day when he was invaded. He saw him off pretty easily with a fire spell but he didn't quite kill him and this guy ran off and Andy couldn't be bothered to chase him so forgot about him. Then the invader comes back and backstabs him and a little while later Andy get's the following message.
Before I go any further, I want to point out that if what follows is a rude question, it is asked in all innocence but we're both agog to find out what it means.
The message was 'On a scale of 1 to 10, how salty are you?' Anyone out there know?

    1.pissed, upset
2.Upset, embarrassed or indignant as a result of humiliation or wrong-doing by another person. Salty was most often heard in Chicago up to about the mid-nineties.
3.A word originating in Philadelphia generally meaning that you just got played, or are looking stupid, either because of something you did, or something that was done to you.

"How pissed off are you?" is what it breaks down to basically.

Think it was made popular by martyrsbrigade video's, salty is a martyrism used a lot now. It is what it is.
