    Obviously you can see I'm going to rely on blocking and fast roll, with an alright defense and hp, and powerful spells

    Suggestions please, should I do dwgr and dusk ring for more spells?

    Ill have a wide array of spells in my arsenal on my journey, but, I plan on relying completely on magic for attacks. All around mage, it will require stretegy with spell choice, and timing. im not pumping ANY points into DEX. Possibly black firebombs, dung pies... ______

    I've made a build like this before. Starting with Sorcerer, I only put stats into INT, FTH, and ATTN until each was in the 30-40 range. Your starting stats are good enough to weild the TCC, which can function as a weak weapon if needed. I didn't need the DWGR since with fully upgraded HL you have a low enough equip burden to fast roll.

    As for equipment: TCC, velkas talisman, pyro flame, and whatever sheild you want that is light enough (i used the CRS).

    Rings: Bellowing and DCR.

    Spells: CSS, SS, HCSM, WotG, GC in whatever multiples you want. This build was before the AotA expansion, and if I were to remake it now, I would want to include dark bead and pursuers.

    Overall, this build was very effective for PvP and PvE. You just have to be aware that you will be one shotted by most everything in the game, especially by invaders. I estimate that I probably won 70-75% of all my invasions where I didnt get ganked. And you WILL get a huge amount of hate mail, just a heads up.

    I like it, but I like focusing on offensive FTH spells really . Emit force is the bomb diggity

    I can roll bs emit force with a mid roll, just so you know.

    Ditch iron flesh. It won't help, you're a glass cannon so just go Power within. Your wog will deal like 800 damage all on its own.

    I actually meant to put the iron flesh on with dark bead, and dual wand ( learned from Rosie sugar something). And forum pirate, I usually am not locked if emitting some force. I like to manually aim, seems to be quite a bit more effective, I've only gotten locked on hits with that in PVP a small handful of times, and it was always from a distance, it's a great punishing move for fire tempest, grave lord sword spell, and especially if u know someone is a pursuers spammer winking

    I am quite worried about the slower casting speed tho, perhaps it will just be a pve character, good for co op if I go with princess covenant spells as well

    Pure caster? That's the easiest type of mage to curbstomp.

    You're wasting stats with faith. The way I see it, Intelligence spells are for offense, faith spells are support, except for the lightning spells, but you aren't using those.

    I lowered faith to 28 and switched the talisman with Velka's since it scales with int. This gives you about 20 points to put into attunement for more spells, endurance for more defense, or dex for faster casts.

    Edit: Changed your spells too, for what I would suggest.

    The best spells for each magic type IMO

    Sorceries: Crystal soul spear, soul spear, dark bead, persuers, crystal homing soul mass, homing soul mass

    Miracles: Wrath of God, Tranquil walk of peace, great heal, gravelord greatsword dance

    Pyromancies: Great combustion, black flame, chaos firestorm, fire tempest

    Going with this. It's my personal preference of style and spells, thanks for the input guys, helped lot actually. I'm not much for combusting in strangers faces. I would use sunlight spear, chameleon, GMBH other fun stuff as well. Not advancing to crystal magic, easier that way. Well also go with sage robe from time to time and leaves me with room for different catalysts on the climb up to the top, or perhaps just an occult or divine dagger at some point. Still seems pure Mage-y that way. I welcome the curb stomping
