Not that it hasn't already, and if you say it hasn't you're a liar. >:c

for me.. to see backstabs removed. Screw backstabs. Leave parries in. Make players actually develop skill instead of the game just being a game of who gets the backstab first.

Faster paced combat while leaving in poise, or a larger variety of armor sets.

Oh god yes, many more armors and weapon. though seeing as it IS the Monster hunter director, I'm pretty sure we can expect a nice chunk of equips. <3

Old Monk was good because of the headgear you get.

Nothing. Everything pointed out has shared my opinion.

My other two points remain, but the single thing I'd like to see is better unarmed combat. I doubt it's going to be there, but one can wish.

5 damage is just puny. It would be good if it actually had at least some small usage.

They seem to have added some kind of dual sword combo so fisticuffs may be more enhanced as well, combo possiblilities at least. Some sort of damage boost would be nice as well but everyone running around punching eachother might be bad if it ends up being too strong

i'd like to see a gladiator net, i've never played a game with one in it and i think it'd be a interesting playstyle.

There may be abusers of it's ability to capture people in the net. I don't know how though.

well mabye it could be a new parry style, make it hard for them to use it but make the repost stronger if it works, or mabye disarm them? idk if they made it work, i'd suicide run for that lol!

Keep backstabs, but make the backstab area narrower. Maybe give a 5 sec. immunity after recieving a backstab to prevent backstab chaining. (I don't care what anyone posts about BS chaining. I still think the devs didn't intend for it to be possible.)

Also, make bare fist scale with strength, but just a little bit. It wouldn't be enough to make them powerful, but enough to make it more realistic. Maybe something like an E or D.

What I'd love to see are enemies that patrol. Similar to the ones in the Tower of Latria.

Keeping the core themes and aspects of Dark Souls while adding mechanics which while small impact the game in a larger way, such as the use of lighting we've seen so far.

What can they do better in DS2?

    IMPROVE THE FREAKING ONLINE PLAY.

    Seriously.

With ridiculous limitations and how the P2P system works, many times the most frustrating thing about Dark Souls is actually trying to summon someone to help you (or trying to invade and getting "Failed to Invade" again and again and again and again even in Anor Londo).

Oh, and yeah, do something about Backstabs too. Given how bad latency can affect this, Backstabs are just a bad idea all way around. I've been BS'd by people who were standing in front of me and a split second later, they appear behind me and I'm already "locked" in the backstab animation.

    Yaaaa ok. Right. Sure. Whatever.

    A release date
No backstabs (not biased, 4/5 toons are Miele based)
It would be cool to do complete armor set bonus (very minor, but still something whatever it may be) when all of it is equipped
Maybe a necklace slot, it would kind of act like a ring but function differently in someway as someone pointed out before
    ...No dark magic lol
