^You missed the point. He wants to 'absorb' HP. Not steal them but it's still a good idea.

smoughs hammer also steals life each hit afaik...too bad all those weapons have major downsides to them:
server is inferior to murakumo @ 40dex and inferior to gravelord sword @ base stats.
smoughs hammer needs ridiculous high str to 1hand and weights a ton, with great hammers you idealy fastroll.
butcher knife propably is the best of the bunch, lowest stat requirements to make it good @40str. too bad it is an axe^^, stunlocking doesn't mean much and it's easily parried, man serpent sword outclasses it in every way =(

I disagree with this. The axe has an weird moveset compared to swords but they are faster than greatswords, plus, with the new patch, stunlock its extremely important, its the reason people left Gswords and Ultra Gswords behind to use the small axes and hammers.

Even with the Mura being better the Server is still a STRONG weapon. it still dead angles it still stunlocks it still has the smoothest moveset in the game.

Agreed absolutely on this. The Server is one of my favourite weapons for these reasons.

The problem with such builds, is that a caster or hybrid will deal more damage than replenish can heal in just the one hit. I have a build with both replenish and sanctus and I have to say that a majority of the time, I'm better off with gmb to shut down spells.
I can use great heal to recover after a bs, if it comes to that (which gets hate mail, btw)

I like it, but I would replace the Tiny Being's Ring with the Ring of the Evil Eye, if you are planning on doing PvP with it. Otherwise, it seems fine to me.
