    Amazing stuff. But the animation worries me a bit.
    Is it just me or the walking cycle and falling animation just a bit... weird?

    it's great that they're keeping it hard. But the way that he died on the bridge screams artificial difficulty. Which is NOT what I want in the souls series.

    dark souls did a great job making a hard game without stupid unavoidable deaths. That bridge scene doesn't exactly look avoidable... the first time anyways

    Me too!

    It also looks like you can equip items/upgrades onto your weapons/shield?

    There are two small item slots under the left-hand shield in the hud, and one slot under the weapon.

    I totally agree, it felt a bit off... hopefully they fix it, otherwise I guess we'll just have to get used to the different timing and look of things.

    Man the game looks great, difficulty-wise too I'd guess. enemies look and seem to act smarter and the physics, MAN the physics. But I'm a bit concerned about one thing. The character seems to have a background story, maybe the roleplaying days are over.

    Yes, the armor looks like rubber and he is walking in a weird way, but i think they will improve it until the game is launched.

    We had to do it with Seath and that was boring and annoying if you had full health and strong armor. At least with the bridge scene it looks like a quick death and that's it.

    Here's a summary:
    - Dark Souls gameplay remains
    - Estus Flasks are still in the game.
    - Dragons are very important to the story of DS2
    -
    "we want players to look at the small details and imagine the story for
    themselves, and create their own story. We will continue to provide
    this feature"
    - players are meant to "feel like a part of the world", hence cloth and wind physics
    -
    two underlying concepts for Dark Souls 2: satisfaction from overcoming
    the challenges, and the loose concept of connecting with other players
    - No interest in "new features", just emphasing the core concepts already there, so new players can get more involved.
    - the game will not be "more accessible" but it will be "more clear"
    - the HUD is influenced by player feedback; it is to be revisited and changed through development
    -
    the combat system will be similar to Dark Souls; the main focus now is
    "the expression of the motions", with realistic motions to provide a
    more natural feel.

    They also said that there will be a way to circumvent the bridge death. Animation doesn't look off to me..just different. I quite like it.

    It looks great and all, but they didn't mention anything about character customization, and this really gets me worried. I don't think it's a good thing if everyone has to play the same character with the same armour and weapons and whatnot. Of course, they might just be using that character to show the gameplay. Oh well, I guess we just have to wait and see.

    very true, I just hope they only do it once, like they did with Seath. If this is a reoccurring theme though I won't be happy about it. I may be wrong but that Silver Rider/Charriot (I forget)... the guy with the horses?? Seems a little unstoppable? I guess I should stop complaining and just wait and see!

    I think who was dying purposely died to the chariot rider. If you look left you can see a window to dodge left. I wonder about the HUD though. What is the crescent moon for?

    It was all great, however I don't know how the lore will be because dragons are dead aren't they?
    Also if I had died to a cheap death like the bridge one I would've seriously sweared many, many words...

    Dragons seem alive and well, maybe this will happen in a timeline that is pre-war. Or not in Lordran, where dragons might still be around.
    Fk I'm worried about the seemingly lack of character customization

    In my opinion and now this is my opinion only it looks really casual now the animations look pretty horrendes the little tiny *** damage the enemys were doing was pathetic not even the giant cyclops did anything to him but then again that could be just the way they wanted it for the tech demo and the hud looks horrible and so does the absorbing soul thing also from what it looks like theres only going to be one character you can play as or just a main character.
    Sorry for my spelling but im in a rush to school yeah bye.
