God Damnit

In the forest with my low lvl toon. Spy a hacker, he spins in circles thinking he can't get hurt. I start to slash at him, make hime bleed twice, he relises he can now die, and runs into the corner and disconnects... What hope does anyone have!? \

No amount of hacking prevents you kicking them off a cliff.

But the ones I run into are ledge wise, and I can't even coax them to the edge with a backstab, then they poison you, so time is not on your side. (I know purple moss is easy to get I'm just low level now,)

if you get them angry they will forget about the ledge.

i can't point my finger on it, but i get the feeling that the version of darksouls you play (pc xbox) is a bit different to my version (PS3). what is this hacking you all are so upset about?

on a serious note: returned to PC for a weekend to try how PvP and general multiplay is there. frequency wasn't as bad as i expected but man...not a single good fight, it was either complete noobs or hackers or both at the same time (low lvl noobs with lategame gear). one dude "invaded" me as a white phantom (i know it's a common glitch) but changed to red mid session after i messaged him...new kind of sneak tactic? i couldn't play on theese hacker plagued systems ...sry

I hate people who are like that >_> But on the bright side i have met a lot of good and honourable players so have faith ^_^

Pc hackswise isn't so bad, although there is a serious amount of bs fishing in it(don't get me started on twop and bs's), which i didn't mind as i've learned to counter it and end up bsing them 95% of the time. Came in hand last night on my first box playhtrough.

As for the invader\summon thing, yeah happened to me too, i got the impression from the dude that he was as clueless as to what was happening as i was so don't think it was a hack he could damage me but i couldn't him and eventually it started switching to red and back too. Around the same i summoned a dragon spirit and he ended up in anor londo as a summon even though i registered on his gfwl(i was on oollacile at the time). GFWL is awful basically.

It's all the more satisfying when they disconnect. Leaves room for lovely amounts of taunting.

Are you on xbox Dibs? If so then next time we will fight. Seriously though lets not have anymore issues with derailment without the host approval.

Even hackers are still somewhat people and they make errors that will kill them at one point.

Not to side with hackers but you never said he actually hurt you.So it sounds like you invaded,he was screwing around in a non-hostile way and you tried to kill him.I'll turn my opinion around if you tell me he hit you with something that wasn't his fist but I'd have done the same thing.

Well he was spamming dark bead and firestorm. I had to hit him with a backstab when he went for the firestorm charge up.

Damn,you should have opened with that!That's a whole different story.I was hoping he might have been a fun hacker like the ones on Youtube.Never the case,huh?

hacker are all the same, small kids or people that are bad at the game ecept if they gift elite clerics set to all they meet.
