Killed almost every npc in firelink shrine...Do i get less benefits long term???

    PSN SL 27

For this character i am a warrior and i murdered the guy opposite the elevator to the undead parish, the knight that i freed earlier from the cage in the undead parish and accidently killed the blacksmith via darkroot garden...

And i seriously doomed ??? Oh and btw should i killed those guards guarding Reah?? They keep chasing me now - hate it as i want to get to that guy past the gargoyles to absolve...Don't want to go long way sad (saying that because my weight is 29.1) so a slow runner!

How far are you into the game? If you killed andrei the blackmsith then you are truly ***. I'd honestly start over, if you wanted you could use the bb glitch to get all your stuff back (and no its not nooby as you are hardly giving yourself gamebreaking stuff like lightning base weapons and havels armour)

If you killed the Knight in gold armor, then you did the right thing because he eventually kills your fire if you dont. other than that, killing andre is kinda bad not gonna lie

Lol, you've got a pretty itchy trigger finger. I'd either start over or turn it into a challenge (the berserker challenge -- kill every NPC on first sight).

Owsald will absolve you of your sins, but there is no way to get Andre back unless you go all the way to NG+.

you can still get fire and chaos weapons which is all you need really, theyre the most useful in the game for pve, specially in the duke's, once you get to ng+ everyone will be back.

    lol, I applaud your attitude.

Try to stick with it even though Andre is gone, there are three other blacksmiths which let you create different kinds of weapon, so you can survive. Just try to make do is what I recommend big grin

Killing andrei removes the options for:

    Raw weapons
    +15 weapons
    Lightning weapons
    Crystal weapons
    Divine/occult weapons
    Boss weapons

he means making them from scratch is impossible, without the large ember you cant make +10 weapons and therefore you cannot make lightning, crystal or boss weapons..

Just means if he wants high level weapons will have to be magic, fire or if he was lightning/boss weapons he'll have to find weapons that are already upgraded (lightning spear, enchanted falchion etc)

I'd just start over, it shouldn't be too much of a pain, maybe 5 hours or so if you don't use the BB glitch.

Regarding the OP, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can absolve so that Vince, Nico, and Reah aren't hostile once you've killed Petrus.

Not a big deal... You'll just have to stick to Fire/ Chaos, Magic/ Enchanted upgrades, and also weapons upgraded with Twinkling and Demon titanites. Not a big deal at all, and no reason to start over.

You're supposed to put up with the consequences of your actions in Dark Souls. Not start over at the first sign of trouble. So many quitters in here...
