SL200 wtf!?

So i have been debating making a SL200 character next as people say the PVP at that level is good, how ever after running the calculator to plan out a spec i must ask.. where the I LOVE KITTENS do you put the points to get to SL200??

SL176: Vitality: 50, Attunement: 19, Endurance:40, Strentgh:40, Dex:40, Faith:50

don't need any more endurance because i won't even be utalizing the equip load as i will wear the same armor my LVL70 and LVL120 does and using the same weapon set up. anything past 40 strentgh and 40 dex is a waste, same with 50 faith. 5 slots is more then enough when all i will use is SLB/DMB and 1 slot for Greater heal. I could just dump the last 24 pts into vitality or Resistance, lol.

i would never use it, Avelyn/tailsman left hand, Washing Pole/Great Scythe (maybe) right hand. Avelyn and Tailsman both have to be in left hand to use and i can't be swapping my weapon with a catylist to cast magic because i am 99% sure it would remove the buff.

Once you cover all your needs, the best you can do it's pump vitality to the top.

I guess then End and/vit, more health and equip weight? wear more armour or something?

render use of ring of favour useless so you can wear different ring?

Well I guess you don't seem to want sorcery so VIT, I guess? I mean, it won't add that much but still...

Well ive noticed if you level up resistance at low levels the gains are much higher. Im not sure how humanitys defense scaling is effected by resistance, or vice versa, But if its not affected much, then u can start a new character and pump the extra 25 points into resistance right from the start. Add 99 humanity and it may be a good option.

i'm in the same boat. but i started adding to INT for two reasons. 1 to be able to wield GSofA and second I noticed the points were giving me LGT resists. So you may want to put a few in there. I've distributed the rest similarly but with more Spell Slots.

Don't get married to your weapons at that level though. You get so much more variety and options.

I think I'm at lvl 175 or 180. Wanna try and set up a match again? I remember our first attempt was an utter failure that robbed us both of 30minutes of our lives, haha.

well i haven't even started making this guy yet as i just finished my SL120. if you have a SL120 that be awesome and i can host in Blighttown so we dont get invaded alot.

and i like being married to a weapon because after trying all weapons frankly the only play style i enjoy is Avelyn/washing pole. lol the move sets of great swords bores me, spears bore me, falchon weapons are nice but range sucks and weak.

yea we had some good matches last night, Joocy is good we are around 50/50 i think against each other.

This is precisely the reason why I prefer SL120 char building. Like you seem to have found out you really lose the 'build' mentality as everyone will pretty much have the same stats w/ pretty much all of them maxed.

I guess one thing that is nice is that you really only have to take one char to 200 because the rest will be pretty much the same...

very true. no need to make multiple chars above 200. Just take the one. Took me a while to be convinced of it. But I found it very worth while. And I was surprised by the amount of online interaction as well.

I'd pump the rest of the points into attunement, you could then stock up on WOG/Force/Lightning spear or even dabble in pyromancy, since that requires no stats to use.

Put a little into int and attunement so that you can constantly have a glowing orb of light over your head (the light spell, which requires 14 int). Useful? No, except in ToG. Cool looking? Yes.
