Grinding for resin? Empty Grinding for resin?

Post by morte Fri Mar 29, 2013 2:12 pm

I know that gold pine resin is grindable via mushroom people, but does anybody know about the rotten and charcoal pine resins? I hate having to farm souls for buying supplies, is all.

Farm souls to buy stuff or farm stuff, it's still farming.

And no I don't know of any way to farm those.

But farming for items gets souls as well, which you can then use to buy stuff.

So if we combine everyone's plans:

Farm for gold resin, and buy charcoal and rotten resins with the souls gained?

    PROFIT!

While we're talking about resins, I would like to make a quick segue to the Charcoal Pine Resins. I used them before but I never felt they gave me much of an increase in damage, are they just weak?

Oh they're weak as hell, but I plan to have a small stockpile of all three weapon resins for PVP, that way I can use elemental damage for the situation but still have my +15 weapon.

No, you can only buy them as far as I know.
Just farm for Gold then use the souls gained to buy Charcoal and Rotten.

Charcoal Pine Resin is weak? Are you MAD? It's the coolest of all buffs in the whole game!

And we all know looks come before usefulness, so...

Fair point, with the damage being so little of an improvement for resins. Nonetheless, I do like the little increases.
