In Demon Souls we hunted down red eyed knights to steal their full moon grass, and in Dark Souls we emptied a flask in the middle of the day on a consistent basis with no regard for our livers. So what's the player going to be hooked on in DS2? Personally, I'd like to see folks snort powder off their gauntlets to heal up.

Dark Souls 2 will have implied hints that the entire world is the hallucination of a heroin addict in rehab, needles will heal the player character.

I think it will be something that you replenish just like Estus.

Grass was only OP because I was able to carry so many of them. If each kind (or all kings total) were reduced to a maximum carry capacity of X<20, then I think grass can work.

Bring back Old Spice. Put sorceries and miracles back on the mana system. Keep pyromancies on the cast system.

You could get 5 Estus per resting point, these could be the equivalent of a late moon grass. So we have 5 Late moons per rest. We have to restock the rest.

I like the above system, but you can only carry two stacks. i.e. 30 crescent and 5 dark, or 10 new and 10 full, but now 10 new, 10 full and 5 dark, since that goes above the two stack limit.

Let's see. Demon's Souls had a solid in grass. Dark Souls had a liquid in Estus. So the next logical choice would be to smoke something for health.

Now now, this is a video game we're talking about here. It's okay to show gratuitous amounts of blood, gore and violence overall, but butts are too far.
