titanite Demon in Lost Izalith

Hello folks,

until now this time it was quite an easy walkthrough. No big problems with Bosses either.
But now I'm in Lost Izalith and I was looking forward to farming the demon titanites of this titanite demon. But I don't even manage to get a single pair!
Problem is I'm a melee (my first walkthrough I was a sorcerer).
And this bridge constantly has the risk of falling off it. What can I do to farm my diamonds?

My stats:

L 102
Vitality 30
Sorcery 12
Endurance 40
Strength 25
Dex 40
Resi 10
Int 15
Faith 10

Have a few good weapons like Quelaag fury sword+5 and silver knight sword +5

What can I do to get my diamonds?

if you can't dodge his attacks get a good shield and tank him to death, the silver knight shield should do the work, with those stat you should get a flameberg and upgrade it to +15, a reg scythe could work too.

Ranged is always safest

But if you are decided on melee, you could power within, firestorm, and, if you are light, always roll under his left arm and try to hit his back, if you can tank him, try to get as close to his arm and hit him, or keep moving back and cast your pyros

I went to blighttown to get this firestorm from Quelana. I saw her far away from me, but when I approacheds her she got hostile and attacked me. Now she is dead.
Who do I get my fire storm from now?

Did you loot her corpse? A more powerful version of Firestorm, Fire Tempest was on her corpse when she dies.

titanite Demon only respawn once?

Go back to the bonfire , and then reload your game , then head back there. If he is still not there , then i really don't know what you could do.

Go back to the bonfire , and then reload your game , then head back there. If he is still not there , then i really don't know what you could do.

No titanite Demon anymore! I reloaded the game completely!
So that means this demon doesn't respawn more than only once.

No titanite Demon anymore! I reloaded the game completely!
So that means this demon doesn't respawn more than only once.

must be smt wrong with ur game/file then. i just finished my farming there, got 99 in box and 99 on me, and hes still there happy

so it doesnt matter how many times u kill him, he will resp if ur game/save file dont have any bugs

Or maybe it is different in different versions of the game. I have the Dark Souls Prepare To Die Edition on Windows PC.
Which version do you have?

By the way, can anybody trade a few demon titanites with me?
However I don't know how this can be done!

I don't know what to say, but the Demon is finally back!
I walked a little through Anor Londo killing some knights and Sentinels, leveled up one time went back to Lost Izalith and now I see him waiting for me again! Don't ask me.

Does anybody have an explanation for that?
Anyway, I'm happy again. If I recognise some rules I'll post it!

Red tear stone ring, you've got the dex for decent bow damage, there's a good chance he'll get caught up on an obstacle and can't move towards to you. Lock on fire and strafe dodge his lightning attack, rinse repeat.

titanite demon doesn't respawn again. I killed him another two times and went back to the fire direction demon ruines, rested went back to the bridge in Lost Izalith and no respawned titanite demon!

Thats weird playing it on the PC and i farmed him for 20 or so titanites and he spawned everytime.

Anout him not respawning, it happened to me, but when i got there on my second playthrough, it worked normaly.

I just need to homeward and get back from the bonfire in quelaag's domain

umm you said after leveling up one time he respawned? Just to satisfy my curiosity , can you go level once more and go see again? Maybe your game is bugged and he will only spawn 2 times each level for some weird reason.

Try unlocking the Chaos Servant shortcut. Donate 30 humanity to Daughter of Chaos to get to "Chaos Servant +2", then go back to the area in front of the Demon Firesage's fog gate. Take a right, and there will be a root going down and some Sunlight Maggots. You can kill them for Sunlight Medals and Red Chunks, continue on and you will find a door. As long as you are Chaos Servant +2, you can open it. Kill the first Sunlight Maggot you see, because, he drops the item "Sunlight Maggot". From there keep going forward and you'll see the back of the titanite Demon. Every time you kill him, go back through that door, and run up to the Chaos Servant bonfire, or use a Homeward Bone. Rest at the bonfire, rinse, and repeat. You can leave the Chaos Servant Covenant once the door is opened, and one thing you'll get as a +2 is Chaos Storm, a pyromancy that can be used to easily kill the Demon. He should ALWAYS respawn if you do this.

Edit: I say "should" because this happened to me once before, and I fixed it by simply switching which side I was coming in on.

TD killed, back to bonefire direction Demon ruins, back to TD result: not respawned. continuing to the other bonefire in the save house in Lost Izalith. back to TD result: still not to be seen. Back to bonefire in the save house in Lost Izalith leveled up once. back to TD, result respawned and waiting for me.

EDIT: I killed him, went back to bonefire direction demon ruins, went back and TD has respawned! No system or rule to be seen!

Just wondering - are you sure it wasn't Laurentius you killed? He does go hollow once you've met Quelana, but if your game's being a bit funky he might've gone off down there anyway.

This Laurentius is still sitting in fire link shrine. It was Quelana!

But back to the titanite Demon:

I have killed him a few times, but not in melee! Only by firing 40 big arrow souls to him and then give him two last hits with my sword. But it is stupid! I think it should be possible to kill him as a melee as well.
I lure him to me and dodge his lightning shots and quickly roll two times back in case he jumps forward to me. That is easy. But I also have to go next to him to hit him. I quickly dive under his left empty arm and are now at a position behind him. Here I hit him 2 times. Then he jumps! And I always die when he jumps at me. Or in my trial to dodge this jumping attack I fall off the bridge into death. Is there a possibility to block his jumping attack?

Well, I've never tried blocking the demon. I just roll out of the way. In the unideal environment you fight him in, it isn't easy to do so. What weapon are you using?

I think you can block it with a VERY good shield, and you also have to be very far back - the way he lands on you with it means it's often hitting your head as well as your shield, so you're backing off to the point where you might as well just dodge.

In all seriousness, that Demon is best killed with your best non-greatbow, meleeing him is quite difficult, especially with the fall AND the branches getting in the way. Just lock on and keep backing away and shooting. You don't need a lot of the demon titanite anyway, and you can use the hawk ring for more damage and the silver ring for a bit of extra souls to make it worthwhile.
