What is happening?

Some guy invades me, and I use my +15 Ricards with sunlight blade and get a very clear shot on him, but it doesn't even phase him. He then proceeds to stunlock me with the MLGS and combo me to death. What the hell?

The upgrade level and buff doesnt contribute to how much you can stun lock

One time I fought this invader, he was so laggy, that I hit him and he takes no damage, sundely he rolls like 3 times and die

I've run into several people on the xbx were no matter how many times I hit them, no damage is done. Most likely they're mods.

Thrusting weapons have a smaller hit radius, which means that in the opponents game, they could have already moved to the side and you would have missed due to lag. Slashing weapons have bigger hit radius-es, which means even if they do move over, you have a much bigger chance to attack them.

He blocked with his sword, and I hit him with with the SLB Ricards. No damage.

what sword did the invader use? and what lvl were you and what color invader?
