Can't beat bows.

So I'm in the forest with my ultra min maxed MLBH dark magic weilding ninja flipper. And this host pulls out a bow and runs away forever. roll roll roll roll run run roll shoot...repeat. I couldn't touch him ever. I ran out of my 18 beads and 12 CSS a long time ago but he's still rolling and because of lag every now and then I get plincked by an arrow for like 150

how am I supposed to beat this if I literally am never in range to deal damage to him?

Do you have a Moonlight Spear in your right hand, and a Demon Spear in the left?

No I foolishly keep my TCC for Dark magic casting in the left hand, should I replace those spells with another spear? will that let me win every fight automatically I want to put zero effort into anything

But seriously the best counter to bows is...Hide around a corner.

Stand around a corner and no matter how much of a coward they call you, just wait there watching them. If they refuse to come to you, refuse to come to them. If they come in, fight them at close range. If you are both sitting there with diapers full of bubbles and frowns on your faces, just disconnect.

Skateboards are a much better weapon for defeating a Bow User.

Get a sack hat, the only 100% op item in the game. Then you will win every fight.

Try turtling. Get a shield depending on arrow damage. Shield up, get as close a possible and poke with spear/rapier.

The most useful tactic against a bow user is the same tactic against a mage.

Be aggressive and don't give them any chance to get away. That's something no one does when i use my bow cleric. People think that dodging and running is the best solution. You're just giving me extra time to pluck you out. Plus i have a Shotel so turtling isn't your best bet either. No Shotel? We still have poison arrows or Dung pies to take you out as you run away.

I predict their shots and tag them with a css/crossbow while they're stuck in the firing animation, or refuse to engage so they have to come to me.

I've delt with this before it was on my winged spear build too, the whole time he would just ninja flip around my attacks in the township. I lost twice, the third time I promptly ran away and hid, I waited for at least 8 mins before they came around the corner and I kicked them off.

It was strange though, I never got any hatemail for that.
