I'm helping people fight him but.. this sunbro is getting bored. What should I do next? Killthe crystal dragon? Slay the first of the dead, perhaps? Or maybe hunt the great wolf guarding the abyss survivor's grave? Maybe extinguish the bug's fire?

Stay away from the fiery bug. Since the fight is more about not falling down holes than actually fighting, sunbros don't tend to help too much beyond getting the floor broken faster. And unless you want to help hosts get tails, I find the crystal dragon isn't that fun of a fight either since he gets so distracted by the multiple opponents that he stops being able to target anyone and it becomes a R1-mashfest, so I guess I'd suggest against him as well. But that's just my opinion :|

Go to whichever boss feels like the most fun to fight. I find the most fun bosses to fight in groups are the ones that move around alot, so the big wolf, the golem of darkness who is actually a human, or the shiny black dragon are still fun to take on with more than one person. If you're not too high of a level I also find that helping out with the fat guy and his buddy can be fun due to the teamwork mechanics in how you have to coordinate with your partner(s) about who is on distraction duty and who is on killing duty for the fist half of the fight.

If it's just for soul farming you're best off with wherever has the fastest summon rates vs ease of victory. If you're around Artorias and can't use Sunlight Spear I'm assuming you're only in the level 50-60 range right now? Assuming that is the case I'd say your best bet in terms of quick runs is Ornstein and Smough or Seath. They both are very easy bosses to take on with groups of people and the runs through the levels are very easy (at least when compared to other options for your level like Tomb of the Giants or the Oolacile Township). Also, neither area for those two bosses is particularly PvP heavy, so invasions should be minimal.

Also, you may already be aware of this but I should add just in case, if you are farming co-op for levelling purposes, do all your levelling at once. Leveling up as you go disrupts your effectiveness for your farming area and as you move incrementally farther away from the level of normal hosts for that area you'll get summoned less and less.

well i dont know about PC. i got the pc and honestly never played it. i looked into moding for polish, and found what i had feared that it would be modded for pvp. i went back to xbox to say the least

i dont usually do summons but just from looking through the forums i would say people have the most troubble with the obvious bosses, DLC, Them Kangs, Jay & Silent Bob (O&S).

most of this is dependent on your level. once again all of my experience is from xbox but if your above lvl 50 i wouldnt bother with anything before Tom & Jerry. if your creeping into the 80's i wouldnt try anything before Kings, honestly though i wouldnt even bother with kings because of thier diff increase w/ summons (though on a side note on a SL 1 run i did put kings w/ a summon into the conditions, but none-the-less you would have been opted out of that situation simply because of your level).

if you really think about it and boil it down your best bets are the DLC any maybe Nito.

like its been said ol' Scaleless is easy peasy so most people dont bother, and BOC is more likely to get you disconnected because of a POS host than anything.

remember though the PC edition did bring in more players, it mostly brought back experienced players.
