yup, and those two swings came at me faster than i could recover from a single swing. i know the gravelord sword has a slow swing speed but that falchion is ridiculously fast.

You can trade with them. They won't expect to lose the trade.
    Bring big weapons.
Zwei trashes these guys, so does 63+ Poise. You can tank two hits like this, because curved swords do 31 Poise per hit.

They do 30 poise damage per swing. You only need 61 poise to tank two hits. I know I've failed you on poise values before, but I'm positive on this one.

so curved swords can break 60 poise in two hits. does this make the falchion the best weapon to use because its so much faster than the great-swords whose bread an butter is breaking poise?

which weapon has the highest PDPS (poise damage per second) anyway?

Weapons like the Claymore have a great moveset and should not rely on only stunlocking.

My guess would be an ultra greatsword, but Rynn said that it was nerfed so I don't know. They used to break 75 poise on a two-handed swing.

You need 31 poise to tank one hit, so it deals 30 poise damage each time. 30 times 2 equals 60: 61 poise is needed to tank 2 hits.

Aha! So the page states how much Poise I need to tank the hit, not how much Poise damage each hit deals?
That makes things even simpler than before!
    Thanks X. winking

Correct. That page and eeveryone's conflicting statements confused me until I tested it myself.

I think the scimitar is more of a starting game weapon much like the shortsword. It only requires 7 strength to use which is kind of wierd because no class starts with a strength stat lower than 9. It wasnt intended for serious use. Only reallly for new players and big hat logan. Although using the short sword and scimitar give a fun little challenge plus they look great
