Keep in mind power within also is a Green Blossom: so I have enough stamina to keep up the dragon roar buff nearly indefinitely. If I stayed a member of the dragon covenant, I'd be receiving a 35% boost to AR, which makes the Avvy be 400 AR before power within. All 3 of these weapons can get counter damage.

Why not?

I couldn't survive long with minimal defense and only 20 vitality at SL 100.

Why 40 Str? For Pike? Just get SKS. It's lighter and probably longer as well.

I say it's a deadly glass cannon as long as you dodge everything, including arrows...

One Dragon Roar would eat almost all of that 124 stamina and leave you nothing to attack/dodge.

END is always far more important than VIT with dragon builds.

I used the pike for two reasons; one, it forced me to get more endurance, two, I could buff it with a resin.

Also I'm used to having low HP. -incredibly- used to it.

(and that pyro build variety was hilarious, but you made an amateur mistake: 50 vitality is worse then 49 vitality)
