You may want to check out the player covenant Karmatic Gremlin Gang (Link in signature) a group dedicated to play pranks on players. Such as leaving a long line of dung pies across a player's world. Use chameleon and moving around from place to place to confuse the player. The list goes on.

Only got it to work once as demons ruins invasions are dead on PC, got 2 mates to use chameleon and chase me as an invader appeared. took about an hour for someone to invade so never attempted again. Got a good show message from the invader. Look up rosie sugar for pranks on youtube, there's some genius stuff there.

Oh man, the cosplay pranks are legendary. Prentending to be a Silver Knight is a fun one, but the best I ever saw was someone pretending to be Shiva. The Forest Invaders ran past him four times before stopping to look at him, and then ran off again anyway...

i dressed up as havel in new game + the invader came down after thirty minutes and hid behind me lol then he walked in front of me i kicked him and the squished him with the tooth lmao i wish i could have seen his face

Using the turn bridges at the catacombs after using chameleon to disguise yourself is a good one, or dressing up as characters like Ricard at Sen's funhouse or Shiva and use "hello" carvings or decoy when they're not looking.
