a possible trading of souls (Resolved)

Would like to trade my Gwyn soul for a Gwyndolin soul if at all possible. For my level 40 (maybe 44, have to look again) Pardoner character. Was dropped the Gwyn soul by a very generous darkwraith/giftwraith who could have mopped the floor with me in Anor Londo, but I also really don't need it at the moment. Would rather have the ability to make the Darkmoon Bow at this point, as my char isn't strong enough to take on the transgendered moon godling at this time (well, reaching him anyways to get in a hit really would be the hard part right now! lol). PSN is Seguleh46 if ya wanna make the swap. Can summon at all the Great Lord areas, as I still have the Lordvessel on my person (going Darkwraith with her). Or hit me up here, as i'll be on for a bit...

u can kill gwyndolin without beeing attacked, using a bow. just look at the ranged strategy

Will check that out. Although, I have tried range before with bow-specific chars, and I usually get slaughtered (obviously I am probably doing something wrong...). I could probably beat him pretty easy with my +9 Dingy Set, Crest Shield, and Great Magic Barrier, but i'm more or less roleplaying here as a female Oswald. Running in with a Target Shield or Parrying Dagger is not gonna work too well just yet I imagine, lol

just stack up on poison arrows, or dragonslayer/gough arrows if u can use those bows, its the easiest boss ingame

if you use the pillars correctly you can avoid most of the attacks just not the giant ball of death

Just read it. I think I have always just gotten too close trying range, as he always attacked. Still though, if anyone wants to make the trade, i'd rather do that. Wanna keep the option of joining Darkmoon later on open! Although I probably won't. Not sure.....sigh.....

Yeah, my pure melee chars usually do pretty well against him, usually getting him on first try with plenty of magic resistance. Just not going that route this time.

i got a spare soul, might have a spare bow aswell, ill be online in about 2h or so, if u still need it by then u can have it, u gotta have the rss tho :p

I got RSS. Fire a message over the PSN at me if ya want (Seguleh46), and where to meet. Anything to add to Lord Gywn's soul you might want? Have some stuff, but not entirely sure of what it is, as I've been giving quite a bit of my gear away to random co-ops in Sen's lately.

BTW, thanks as well to the asshat who spawn ganked my RSS at partizan......the funny thing is you likely would have won anyways. I got 9 vit on that char.

Really easy boss once you learn his attacks etc.
