It's the only real counter, it lags so *** badly that it instantly cooks you even if you roll through it. Got mooked by it every time I saw it during my streams because lol-lag. Then I equip the DWGR and all my problems vanish.

Do you fast roll? Roll forward. It always works. Even if you mid or fat roll, if you can learn your invincibility frames dark magic is easy to dodge.
The best way to counter it without dodging is Great Magic Barrier. Use that, and magic won't even scratch you.

Just learn to dodge it or roll through it. My pursuers are practically useless because I rarely hit with more than two.

I thought they activated at close proximity, like the fog ring??? Also, cant you "auto activate" by using the silver pendant as the caster?

Hidden Body for some reason is more effective than the Fog Ring re: Pursuers. For whatever reason Pursuers doesn't go off when someone is under the spell.

Be careful rolling into Pursuers. A prepared person will nail you with Dark Bead as you get up. Distance is the key, and well timed rolling.

Its sorted guys great magic barrier works an absolute treat whack it on let them fire there magic then watch there bottle crash when it barely scratches you then DMB there *** to the abyss .....also finally getting the hang of this pvp buisness 7 for 7 there

Might screw up your build, but Havel's GS laughs at dark magic.
As its been said though, rolling will work almost every time against dark bead, but pursuers are different. You should still try to run through/into them, but I have had times where I rolled into them only to have them turn on a dime and get me from behind. Also, luring them into objects may not always work, I've found that leading them into objects will cause them to give me phantom damage even if I'm not directly hit by them. Or at least that's my experience.
Also forgot to mention, but you should be watching their hands for catalyst switching or lifting for spells.
