    The health regen in DeS with the Adjudicator's Shield, Regenerator's Ring, et. was something that caused much complaining because it was seeing as a way of circumventing the game's difficulty by just stacking healing items.

    In DkS that was, by and large, taken out. In return we were treated to super stamina regen with Blossoms, GCS, and Cloranthy Ring.

    Which do you think was more game-breaking?

    PvE wise it was HP regen of DeS.
    PvP wise it is the Stamina regen of DkS.

    I don't know what to choose in the poll...

    That's tough. I think 2nd chance was more game breaking then HP regeneration in Demons' Souls. However, I only used HP regeneration in the poison swamp.

    I use stamina regeneration all the time on my PvP build. The only two stamina items it uses is Grass Shield and Child Mask, and it never runs out of stamina. It only has 2 of the 4 items!

    I pick stamina, because insane health doesn't matter if you know how to dodge and block, but insane stamina can make it easier to dodge and block.

    I vote HP regeneration because it makes fights boring in my opinion. I like nice, realistic duels that don't involve me backing off for 5 seconds to regain my health only for my opponent to do the same.

    Stamina regeneration normally won't lengthen a fight; it would shorten it if anything. In other games I've played that required you to build around health regeneration the fights would never end.

    I voted HP because I think damage is broke. Based on poll options, HP was the only thing that would compensate.

    I think stamina is fine. Its the "ability bar" in this game. Almost everything you do requires it. I dont see a problem with an overabundance of it.

    I don't like 20 second duels, never have. That is unless I'm using my DMB.

    I had no idea there was health regeneration in Demon's Souls, even after my 4 playthroughs of it. :|

    I'll be honest though, as far as hp regen goes it wouldn't matter if you continually get hit by whatever enemy your fighting. (Unless your fighting some fool with a broken sword)

    I think the whole thing with the stamina regeneration would be a bit more of a pain when I think about it. I had a match a few weeks ago with someone that was obviously abusing stamina regen to an annoying degree. All they used was a bow but they were damn near impossible to hit because they seemed to have close to an unlimited amount of stamina. To me that is much more annoying then someone who has regenerating health, because I'm still lowering it regardless of if they have some sort of shield on.

    Either way they are both equally annoying if they are placed in the hands of a griefer.

    Eating blossoms has a massive effect on melee PvP performance. You will almost never run out of stamina with grass in effect, and if both players eat, the matches are far more frantic and fast paced than when not. I believe it to be a crutch, and usually fight without it to train stamina management. If the opponent is really good and eats themselves, I will do likewise to put myself on even ground.

    You can stack several HP regen items and get your HP to max in few minutes. Same worked for MP, so if you used both and just waitid a bit, you didn't have to worry about HP, or Spells. It was almost gamebreaking (PvE wise) if you were patient enough.

    It's addictive as hell.
    I've stopped grassing unless I have to be extremely aggresive, or I'm using heavy tank Str setup and I die to my lack of Stamina managment a LOT.

    Speaking of Green Blossom, i rarely ever even use it. I do use it on my Artorias build and perhaps one more build, but that's it.

    I've never really needed it too much.

    Most of the time I don't even need it but I'll use it anyway because my withdrawals will start kicking in if I PvP without it. It's an addiction I tell ya. :pale:

    Pf stamina regen is a joke. With HP regen I could turtle whole duel till full HP. Things get nasty and honor sh!t comes out when you see HP regen in duels. I know some guys that would grass mid duel if the faith build opponent gets to full HP while turtle-rolling.

    I voted neither.

    My pvp is 100% Dark Souls and 0% Demons so hp regen certainly is not broken nor op. Stamina regen can be made practically instant, however since regen is not based upon ones stats, we can all have fast regen making it balanced and unbroken.

    If anything I see grassing as a crutch that actually can harm a player if they grow too dependent upon it. Ever duel a dependent grasser after he runs out of regen mid fight? Things get really predictable and turtle like on his end.

    I have always viewed other body buffs as better than grassing. I.e. flash sweat with lingering ring, or havels shield buff with wolf ring.
