good question.
i was messing around with alluring skulls in the forest. i was invading random hosts and tossing alluring skulls around trying to get the mobs to follow me. sadly it didn't work. strangely, not one host cast pursuers during any of my invasions, so i didn't get a chance to find out if the alluring skulls would distract the pursuers.

Bloodpact91 is currently helping me try it out. We'll make 2 attempts at it. One by throwing the alluring skull before casting, and another while they're moving. I'll edit this post once we've tried it out.

Even had it worked, they're too fast to outrun at fast speed even. I tried doing so and throwing an alluring skull. They catched up to me once i threw it onto the ground. Even had it worked, it'd be a waste. You're better off just hiding behind a wall or tree.

Certain you've fully tested that? It might not work against phantoms, but work on hosts, or vise-verse. Test against both red and blue phantoms.
