Does the 20% boost of souls from the covetous silver serpent ring effect the souls that you get from killing invadeing players?

I'm sure it would, but it's hard to prove unless you're fighting someone you know to verify how many souls they were caryying, which is highly unlikely

Yes it does increase the amount of souls you get from players.

Kill player, gesture, swap DWGR for serpent ring, put on symbol of avarice, gain 44% more souls. I do it if I fight someone who I can tell is a high level from their gear. I've got in excess of a million from one max level guy with the soul boosts.
