Slake, it is rather crass of you to make such a statement - you should be aware that this forums demographic is primarily under-30's and a lot of the new members are adolescents. I know that many of us were likely more mature than they were at their current age however what do you really expect? Adolescent Males tend to be rather... puerile, heck - I would personally say that I am an extremely puerile person when you take a look at my posts - if you are to make Vinyl a scapegoat I would rather be the person that is looked upon negatively by you - perhaps I should have been used as a scapegoat for the negativity on the forum considering I have created so much conflict, remember the covenant wars? They went to crap because of me - oh, and take a look at my 'pictures of forum members in past or present' thread. The amount of blatant sexual content there was incredible...

I doubt that you respect my opinion with the content that I have posted on the forum previously. Although you don't respect me I would like to question why you have had such a sudden outburst. I agree with you that the forum hasn't aged well, it is not going to be the same forum you knew when you joined it though - there is constantly new members joining and older members leaving. Although I have issues with the forum I don't publicly pick a bone with the administrators or moderators of this forum, heck I don't even pick any bones with them. Note that Dark Souls is gaining more publicity therefore the people joining the community could have changed the demographic of people that play it - perhaps the publicity means that less dedicated gamers have joined the forums. Maybe they don't take their games as seriously as you therefore they don't care so much about the community and only have joined it for fun.

Anyway, I hope you understand that others have differing view points to you Slake, especially when many of them are from a different generation to you.

This wasn't meant to be offensive towards you and if I caused you offence then feel free to make a formal complaint in my inbox and we will fix the rift between us.

Slake, I think you're being too hard on things - singling out Vinyl is really unfair IMO - it seems like anything pertaining to the Forum these days rubs you the wrong way and you're lashing out a bit. I'd urge to reconsider this hard-line stance of yours because I always enjoyed reading your posts and I'd miss it hugely if you left.

That being said, your posts about your PvE experiences always made be smile and chuckle. I'm also pleased that you care enough about things around here that you would voice your indignation so passionately.

The definition of perversion is commonly misunderstood. If one were to understand the definition, they would understand that a varience from what is considered normal conduct is highly subjective and debateable.

Being perverted does not inherently describe one's sexuality. It could mean socially preverted amongst several other things.

An example of a harmless diversion from sexual normalcy:

Why do I like my wife's feet in my mouth? Because they're cute and I like salt. I also become aroused upon eating feta cheese.

The harmful diversions from what is socially acceptable are well known, supported by a vast majority, and need not to be stated.

To avoid a s*** storm of nasty posted opinions from either side of this. I'm going to ask a mod or admin to lock this "humorous" thread.

Mea culpa, I admit that calling Vinyl Scratch a cretin was a tad uncivil, because, as we know, according to the Infamous Amos, all adolescent males are peurile and should be forgiven, even when what they say/post on a public forum gives offence. As for Amos', well I cannot remember being offended by any of his so called 'peurile' offerings, maybe because I thought they were funny and I have no quarrel with sexual innuendo if it makes me laugh. Vinyl Scratch, on the other hand was not, imo trying to be funny but provocative in spite of his assertions. Anyway, in order to soothe the troubled brows of those whose feathers I have ruffled, (that's two metaphors in one sentence), I have edited my post, so do calm down dears.
Maybe this forum is past it's sell by date like me. I shall take a look at it from time to time but wont do much else. It's fast becoming a place I don't want to be.

I agree. Although I also observe there is a reporting mechanism for a reason. Anyway, if folks really want to be disgusting, I'm sure there are other place on the Internet to do it.
