tank a dragonslayer spear?

How much poise is need to tank it? Is it just me or does it poise break much better than a halberd?

Has anyone tested. I usually rock high poise but its like one hit and I'm stunned.

Is it because the lightning?

It should break only 30 poise when two-handed and 20 when one-handed like other spears. It does attack much faster than a halberd, so it can easily break someone's poise if they spam R1.

How much poise are you rolling with? If you want to tank 2 two-handed swings go for 61 poise and go for 31 if you only want to tank one.

Keep in mind its R2 attacks may break a bit more poise.
