    A knight's weapons Empty A knight's weapons

Post by Casdman Sat Feb 23, 2013 8:38 pm

So im making a kight theme for whatever event is coming next, orgionally it was just gona be an oscar cosplay but i decided not to limit myself just to the astora's str sword.

So what kind of weapons do you think would properly fit into an elite knight theme?

heres the build so far, feel free to offer some suggestions:http://mmdks.com/18h9

You look set up to me. Unless you want suggestions about what other weapons you could use. I say the BKGA. It makes you a badass knight.

I think the claymore, broadsword, and halberd are all nice, knightly weapons.

Don't forget the Greatsword for BA knightliness.

    Don't forget the longsword!

Edit; bastard sword, rapiers, and you have to use the knight shield.

Crescent Axe works as well imo. It looks like a "knight's axe," and the faith requirement seems to enforce it.

I second the Crescent axe, looks like it'll be one of the better weapons to use with those stats, especially because a 30 faith SLB buff won't push your damage output to utterly insane levels.

I'm gonna make a 'classic' knight build soon. Here's the weapons you can use:

    Broadsword
    Longsword
    Sunlight SS
    Silver Knight SS
    Balder Side Sword
    Astora's SS

    Bastard Sword
    Claymore
    Flamberge
    Great Lord GS
    Artorias'/Abyss Greatswords

    Zweihander
    Greatsword

    Crescent Axe
    Battle Axe

    Greataxe

    Mace
    Morning Star
    War Pick
    (maybe Blacksmith Hammer?)

And ofcourse the BK weapons silly

For shields I'd recommend Knight, Balder, Heater or Tower.
There are others you can use, but these feel more... knightly... xD

A knight's weapons Empty crescent axe?

Post by Paragon Mon Feb 25, 2013 8:37 pm

To me the crescent axe looks more like something a cleric would use. same with the morning star. On my knight build i used the astora straight sword and the claymore but then later switched to the sunlight straight sword. Sunlight is better if you upgrade it all the way in either divine or occult. Claymore i upgrade to +15 normal so I can buff it. Once buff runs out i switch to straight swords. although it may seem rather limited when i think knight i think sword not axe or mace. dont forget your canvas talisman, your build is missing that as of now.
