New Build.......Suggestions?

right lads i'm going to make a new build i've just completed ng+ with my first character so still pretty amatuer at this game the problem was is that the build lacked focus mainly due to when i didnt have a clue about the game he was a jack of all trades and completely useless at pvp (or maybey thats just me lol) but with this new one i was thinking a high focus on DEX/END/VIT is there any drawbacks to this any suggestions would be helpful.......also i plan on using +15 uchigatana and making him a sl 120 hopefully for fightclub haha

That sounds good, but I would also do 32 int for CMW or 30 fai for SLB, but that's my opinion.

32 int...? Surely you must mean 25.


Aim for 40 vit, 40 end, 40 dex, 14 str, and the rest is up to you. Perhaps 14 ATT and go pyromancy, put the rest into vit/end/str, or go 14 att and put the rest into either Faith or Int; both are good.

One last option is to stop at 16 or 25 INT, 16 for the dark sorceries, or push to 25 for CMW, although 16 will serve you well.


For PvP, have you considered what kind of PvP you'll be doing? Invading, Dark Moon Blading, forest hunter, or waiting around to be invaded?

I love quality builds, as you can use any weapon you come across. 27str/40dex (more str if you have the pts).

My recommendation is to skip both Int and FTH and put it all into VIT/END/STR/DEX and maybe 14 or 16 ATT and get pyromancies; they're good in fights, and resins are fine. Poison especially is underused IMO.

Double post. Note that this isn't the best PvP build that can be made, but it opens up all weapon options (or most anyways). It should allow you to figure out what weapon you enjoy fighting with. Spears, great swords, ultimate great swords, straight swords, thrusting swords, etc, etc. Once you know the weapon(s) you want to fight with, that's the starting point for most builds. Determines usually how much poise or armour you want to stack, and what buffs (if any) you want to go along with it.

Yes, I have. 32 int is the minimum for Tcc.

CMW at 25 Int and Ivory Cat, the best magic adj at 25 int, has an AR of 252.

CMW at 32 Int and TCC has an AR of 355.

32 Int isn't bad since it's only 2 more then the SLB min fai requirement.

Also, SLB with 30 fai and Canvas talisman, the best magic adj at 30 fai, has an AR of 309.
