New hack I came across

It seems like I'm a magnet for hackers. Was putting down a red summon sign in the township and I was summoned by some guy with a leather shield and rapier. I fight him for about 15 seconds and get him to half health before a blue phantom invades. Normally I would've ignored the blue phantom, but he was a magician so he had to die first.

When I get back from that the host healed(of course) and he's doing some weird pose that shouldn't exist in dark souls. It looked exactly like this and he just glided along the ground like there was extreme lag. I poke at him with my spear and get parried and then riposted while his body is still in that position and then it happens again and i die.

Afterwards I messaged him to cuss out his manhood and pride until he admitted to "not needing the hack in the first place". Is it against the rules to give out a hackers name so others can report him too?

This happened? Maybe he was flexing his muscles?

Are you sure you weren't fighting Spiderman?

The griefer is being griefed by hackers and she is complaining about it.

I also complain about weapon buffs, ninja flippers, magic, spam, ganking, and losing in general. Gonna do something about it?

Got to admit it is ironic, though understandable. Hm...what sl was this? Because now my curiosity is peaked on this.

If you actually played your mage you could've won?

I was sl 99. The guy was using really lightweight clothing and weapons to fastroll so his endurance might not have been that high. He was pretty fragile and had relatively low health, and was weak. which means all of his other stats must have been kinda low too unless he was hiding them. Which I don't think he would since he was a hacker. I'd say he must have been less than 100.

pfft. Playing a mage made me feel....dirty. I'm going to delete it once I come up with another build to try. 10 hours on it is way too long already.

Nah. Magicians will always be the biggest bunch of losers in my mind. I can't associate myself with them anymore than I already have.

I thought everyone was in the darkside lol. Anyway this seems like a major hack to manipulate the game like that, you are on xbox Lunar? I guess it might be time to try my ice demon style if I run into these hackers. If anything they'll rage quit from my persistence.

It's just a playstyle like any other, no reason to disparage mages. Even housewives are legitimate builds, I just don't like them because they look ugly, but they have every right to exist.

Ease of spam(Dark bead, combustion, WoG)

Overpowered spells that are spammable( Crystal soul arrow, Persuers)

Stacking buffs(Crown of Dusk, Bellowing dragoncrest ring)

Tendency to lag (More than once I've ran through a crystal soul mass with my shield up and then unblocked once it hit me and then died 3 seconds after)

I agree with everything, except "persuers"...was that in the dictionary?

I hate mage spammers making us Wizards look bad...if I didn't spam, would you respect me then?

Lunar you grief which is to cause suffering to the other person. Well Ice demon style is a still testing change to my playstyle where: my honor code goes out the window, I become much more aggressive, will exploit every mistake and flaw you make, will bs if you try to heal. My priorities will be switched to survive as long as possible, deal as much pain and drain your resources to none and kill you. Think a vampire that has not feasted blood in days.

I will still hunt you down someday for killing all my apprentices. I feel like I've been stuck in "Casting 101" for eeeeeever now. They're just poor castlings Lunar, have some mercy.

There's only so much you can teach Animaal. Most will never have the requisite skill.

Sorry but when dark beads and pursers came into play my respect for mages dropped to 1. I won't rant about something done to death but I will say I felt like the skill with magic went far down the drain.

Where was it at before the introduction of dark sorceries?
