I joined the DMBs after some fun times in the forest cov, but I can't seem to be summoned using the DMB ring that claims wearing it will allow Gwyndolin to summon you. I wore it for almost 2 hours last night while running around in multiple areas and was never summoned. Normal summons/invasions worked fine. Is there some trick to this? The wiki claims you can wear it anywhere and it works a la the forest cov ring, and there are no level restrictions.

Re: Darkmoon blade help
It works, just not as often due to more people running through the forest compared to dark anor londo I assume. Just use the blue eye orb, much easier and you can use it without being human

Do I need to be human for the ring to work? I was human for a while last night but nothing happened. The forest cov ring worked either way as I recall.

Re: Darkmoon blade help
I've been a DarkMoon for a while and I've only been summoned to Dark Anor Londo a handful of times and they've all been while I was human. But I've been summoned from my blue stone thingy way more times. Just a few tips for getting summoned:
1. Make sure you're in the perfect level range(Like being level 35 if the range is 30-40)
2. Make sure you're not trying to invade in too low of a level. It's hard to find sinners earlier on in the game.
3. Don't depend on the ring. If you want, put the ring on and try to get summoned with your blue stone thingy. Once you see the message that you are being summoned, then switch the ring to one of your usual ones.
4. If I had to put numbers on it, Getting summoned via red eye stone takes 10-20 seconds. Getting summoned via blue eye stones takes 30seconds-5minutes. Getting summoned via dark moon ring is once in a blue moon(see what I did there? It's a pun ^^).

Re: Darkmoon blade help
I also have been a Blade of the Darkmoon for some time and I'd have to agree with all DarkmoonKro said about the ring. There definately is a sweet spot for invasions using the ring but if you are willing to keep it on for sometime you should always find someone to invade, though keep in mind there are a lot of people waiting in dark Anor Londo for you to appear.
However the blue eye orb consistently works for me especially at high traffic zones e.g- Sen's, Painted World, Kiln, Forest, Depths, Blighttown, to name a few. Also there is no level cap for the orb so you could end up being trashed by someone with amazingly high stats but he feeling when you beat someone like that is unmatched.
Anywho good luck on being a Darkmoon its a rewarding covenant despite what other peopl say about it.

Re: Darkmoon blade help
Summoning Rings doesn't work if you're in an area where you're not allowed to invade. For example it doesn't work in Firelink Shrine. But if you stay in Undead Burg, even with the boss dead it will work. Remember that, don't stand AFK in places like that because you won't be summoned. Another example it's the room of the Chaos Covenant, it doesn't work in there.
