Miyazaki Tweets... what do they mean!!

Miyazaki has made many tweets that seem to be teasing us about dark souls 2. They could also be misleading, or trolling, but I will post the most interesting ones (my opinion) and we can discuss them. He also posted some fuzzy pictures which I will post.

I am also sure the other directers have twitters, so they may have released hints as well

Do those pictures look like red-eye knights from DS or is it just me?

Looks like it'll be the period between the age of ancients and the age of fire when the gods left. It would explain the similarity between many areas and the featuring of what looks like it could be lordran, demon ruins and velka.


.....unless Miyazaki's trolling us again.

Dragons can be vehicles = you will ride a dragon. Whether or not you control it directly who knows

I wonder if trees.... = you will fight trees that wield swords, or some kind of weapon


Don't turn your back to the sun = don't give up hope, or literally remember this tip when you are making your first playthrough, maybe something bad will happen if you do so at some point

Before the darkness = just teasing us with lore

No hope = it's still Dark Souls

I would like to think "Don't turn your back on the sun" might have something to do with a Lunaire character, an undead who turned his back on his goal, but instead of being hollowed he found something else to work for.

The man is up to his old tricks, which to me suggests DS2 will likely have that distinctive Miyazaki flavour running through it!
This guy must have some fun, I know if I was him I'd have a ball teasing the fans, he obviously has a mischievous spirit....hence the enigmatic genius of Dark Souls

I think the Dragons can be vehicles tweet was over the concerns of the "HD graphics, vehicles too" articles that cropped up and got us riled up after the Edge article preview.
