Resident Evil 6 anyone?

So i played the demo a couple 'o days ago, and man, i'm lovin' it! So, simple as this is, is anyone getting the game for 360? I was wondering as i'd love to have it to play with someone, seeing as i have not yet managed to convince any of my friends to buy it.

I'm not going to get it, there's just so much that they need to fix that means the game will suck at launch. Plus, it's a capcom game, so expect to get [some sort of non-racist analogy] to hell and back with DLC.

Nah, it's a bad action game and an even worse horror game.

It's really about opinion here, and stating that it's bad before actually having tried the full game ain't a strong opinion really, i do respect your opinion of course, but stating that it's bad without even trying the full game sure ain't an accurate statement. As for the critics, i've never really agreed with them, i've seen low ratings on games that deserved so much more. As for a horror game, yeah, not too good, but all in all, i really do enjoy this game.
Edit: As for the user ratings, they are positive on gamestop.
Edit2: Just pointing out that by ''accurate statement'' i meant that, you can't really say something is bad unless you've actually tried it. Just pointing that out as to avoid any misunderstandings.

I have tried the game, and it's bad. The controls are bad, there are quick-time events out the wazoo, the gameplay is unpolished and uninspiring. But whatever, have fun with it. I wouldn't buy if it was good anyway, Capcom don't deserve anyones money.

Well, i can't say much about that then, but it's really about opinion like i said, either way, it's too bad you didn't like it.

I saw a few Let's Plays and First Looks at the beginning areas and I'm just not sure. This may be game that I wait a bit before I make a decision on. The truth is, I have got many other games that are ahead of it right now in the pecking order. :|

In a couple of months though - who knows?

Well, like i said to Wade, it's really about opinions, as for the Resident Evil series, i'd say this is better than what 5 was.

I have to say, I'm disappointed by the reviews, but I liked the demo. Everyone dogs the game for its frequent cut scenes and "poor" story... But all the RE games have crap stories and that's part of the camp value. We'll see. A lot of people didn't care for RE5 either, but I loved that game despite its problems.

Not to mention, even BAD games can be fun in co-op. I guess I'll find out how good or bad this game is this weekend when I power through it with my buddy.

Well if you liked RE5, i'm sure you'd be able to enjoy this one.

Exactly! I have a soft spot for these games; they're never perfect, but they're always enjoyable.

Yeah, i was considering getting the 5th installment, but when i heard of RE6 i decided i'd get that instead, and man, i really love it, but it's a pain in the *** goin' solo, by that i mean hard, not boring, in case you didn't get that.

I never played RE5 by myself for long; it's terrible. The AI was very dumb. You'd give your NPC partner the best guns in the game, but they'd still use their crappy pistol... stuff like that. I don't know if RE6 is better in this regard.

RE5 Solo Play: 6 out of 10
RE5 Co-op Play: 9.5 out of 10

Play the game with someone, even if it is split screen.

Not to mention, Mercenaries Mode is great. At least it was in RE5, and from what I've heard, they've done more with it this time around.

As for solo in RE6, i'd say, while i haven't played for more than just a mere couple of hours, my partner is a total retard, so, yeah. But it's still a great game and i'm longing for playing co-op on it, thus the reason for this topic.

I don`t know why people are always hating RE5 and praise RE4. To me RE4 was the worst part of the entire series. It`s strange "half-coop" mechanic was not revolutionary or anything it was just annoying.

As for the 6th part, I´ve only played the Leon campaign so far and I loved it, the only thing that irked me a litte bit was the boss. His transformations were just way to ridicoulous.

I played a bit of the game last night and I'll say the tutorial is awful... really, really, painful. It acts like you've never played a game in your life and the CONSTANT interruptions are agonizing.

You can't skip it, either.

After completing this crap, I hoped into Mercenaries for awhile and it's really fun. The game is well-made and I'm excited to play it more fully this weekend.

I hope the actual game isn't AS inundated with cut-scenes and button-mashing as the tutorial is. Games need to be less like movies. Not every game should be like Metal Gear.

You playin' on psn? There's been no patch on the 360 as of yet.

As for RE5, i don't hate on it, but RE4 introduced me into the series, so i'm only bound to love it over RE5. What had me love RE4 was the atmosphere, whether the whole game was good or not didn't matter, so, yeah, that's why i prefer RE4 over RE5, and also why i like RE6. To me, it seems like they managed to mix the atmospheres of RE4 with RE5, mainly because of the three(+4th one) different campaigns, but still.

Edit: As for mercenaries, i like it even more than the campaign itself(and i like the campaign), i've been playing it 60% of the time.

Yep,the bug concerns the PSN version of Resident Evil 6,should have mentioned that.

Oh and in one week,PSN+ members like me will get Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for free...

Nope,because each month,PSN+ members get around 3 recent PS3 games for free and 3 PSN games for free plus some discount and free avatar and free theme,etc...all from the PSN.
