Most overpowered weapons in videogames.

We all know some games have that special weapon that doesn't compare with the others and makes you godlike. Here are some that I've found.

Assassins Creed: The hidden bade.

This insta kills any target when used properly. AC2 improved it's use which made it more overpowered.

Assassins' Creed 2: Dual hidden blades.

Self explanetory.

Dead Space 2: Contact beam.

The alternate fire will kill almost any enemy around you, and slow down whatever it doesn't kill.

Resident Evil 5: Rocket launcher.

This will one shot anything, even the last boss. Infinite ammo can be unlocked for it.

Reckoning: Meteor.

This spell is insanely overpowered. It will one shot an entire group of enemies and most bosses.

Human Revolution: Hacking.

Not only is it a requirement for a few missions, but it's the most useful thing in the game.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed: Force

This can be used to literally throw an enemy off the map.

The original Doom:
BGF, Plasma plasma everwhere!

Final Fantasy Tactics:
Not a weapon but the Ninja Job, Dual wield AND attack boost....bye bye enemies

Resistance 2:
The Auger- A sniper rifle that can see AND shoot through wall AND can place a shield in front of the sniper

Pushy from Fallout New Vegas. When I can do supersonic kinetic sweep kicks and oneshot cazadors at level 9, you know something went wrong.

Greatsword of Artorias

Self explanatory

Crissaegrim in SoTN. Or better yet, TWO of them. The rest of the game is cakewalk after getting it.

Erdrick's sword in Dragon Warrior.

Force Crush from Kotor 2.

It is a force power you get for the prestige class Sith Lord.

With a high enough force pool and the right gear, as well as character build it will cost next to nothing. As well, with regeneration you can regenerate force faster than this ability can take it away.

Finally, this force power stuns anything in the game while dealing a good deal of damage. No enemy can resist it so if you target something and cast it, they get stunned. The stun lasts longer than the cooldown. You can go to the boss of the game and aside from one of the phases, just use this single power and kill the boss easily. Any single enemy encounter becomes a impossible to lose with it.

catastroceros in Ni No Kuni, its not a weapon but a familiar but if you get one per characer you're party is unstoppble. even one can kick serious ***, catastroceros op, needs nerf.

The Experimental MIRV in Fallout 3. Thing's so crazy it's barely usable.
Not to mention the Chinese Army Stealth Suit. That thing pretty much breaks the game. And if I'm going to bring that up, have to bring up the Invisibility spells/enchants from Oblivion.

The combination of Black and Delgado in Jericho

Knives in CoD. There, I said it.

The Halo 1 pistol.

Kojima weaponry in AC:FA

FF 7 - Knights of the round summon & Mime
Halo 2 - Plasma pistol + pistol combo
Demon's Souls - Blessed gear
FFX - Ultimate Weapons
RE2 - The Magnum
Oblivion - Sneak & assassinations

Don't forget black clothes enchanted with a strong elemental shield and the bound sword. Hight armor and attack for 0 weight. Also, Breton with Mundane Ring = 100% magic resistance. Paralize was overpowered, even if it's just 1 sec. Alchemy could create some overpowered stuff. Clothes enchanted with chameleon. There are probably some other OP stuff I don't remember. Fable: Multistrike and Assassin's Rush.

Multistrick multiplies your weapon damage by 2 - 5 times. Assassin's Rush teleports you to the spot behind your enemy. Both of those together is beast.

This is a funny one that I forgot to mention.

Dead Space: Plasma Cutter

This thing is beast when upgraded. It's a good balance of capacity, speed, and firepower. The ammo is so plentiful that you have to sell some of it even if you use the weapon all the time. It gets better. You start with it and get a trophie for completing the game with just that weapon.

The Golden Gun from Goldeneye.

Oh Jebus yes ^

How could I have forgotten about that one? That one is so definitively overpowered it's inspired others. You see lots of one shot kill guns now.

"I only need one shot" indeed golden gun is the epitemy of OP guns!

Also, flare gun on Alan wake, it's just a ridiculous weapon really

Only with Meru. The amount of turns she gets is crazy. She just spams Dragoon and heals.

Enchanting and alchemy in Skyrim and its predecessors

Dead Space 3- Evangelizer, you get it if you buy the Limited Edition, it makes the hardest difficulty pretty easy.

I respectfully disagree, the most overpowered weapon in that game is Altair's Sword.
