has anybody else noticed that you can still summon the wolf sif during the manus fight even when you have 2 phantoms with you?

yea i know, but you shouldnt be able to summon him when you have two phantoms already with you.

Sif is not a player summon so it doesn't count.

but even when you summon other npcs you cant summon more than 2 npcs and players

I guess it's because Sif is part of the boss battle so it doesn't count.

Regular Summon Signs from NPCs and Players require 2 presses. One to open up the window, asking you if you wish to summon or not, and the second one, where you actually press to summon or decline. Sifs summon sign only requires one press, therefor Sif is not actually considered a regular Summon. Also keep in mind that he's also the only none-humanoid Phantom that you can summon, which separates him from all other phantoms. I think that's enough to answer your question.
