I've started using it recently in PVP, including the last Forum event. It's awesome! I like to use poison arrows.

When I do use a bow, the Composite is my first choice. It seems like the one of the best, if not the best, bow to pick.

I...don't really see how it's that good. Could someone please explain what I'm missing out on? You guys are talking about it like it's the most powerful shiz in the game.

Bows are a bit on the powerful side because you can't dodge poison buildup(stamina regen gets cut), and approaching a good bow user means they can do bow bait parry and bs. Best counter to a bow is an xbow.

It draws arrows MUCH faster than the Longbow or Pharis bow. So for PVP usage it's extremely useful.
During Ceaseless Assault I could roll away from an attack and let off an arrow before they had time to move, depending on their weapon.

I tend to let my opponents think that i'll do the parry bait technique instead they get a R2 Shotel in their face.

Like Crack said, its the draw and release. As with all small bows, ie short bow, composite bow, and darkmoon bow.
If I recall correctly, the composite has the best AR scaling of the 3.
Plus you can quickscope if you practice enough, and headshots cause crits and stagger. It takes a ridiculous amount of practice though. I cant do it effectively, but I've fought people who could. I fought this one dude that headshot me in the middle of a fireball...twice. That fight is what turned me on to bows o' so long ago.
