    I almost always go for 120 builds, but considering I need a 99/100 for the arena, and I've been wanting to make a hardcore mage build for a while now, I spawned this monstrosity.

    Just checked that armor combo out, and it looks pretty sick, though the cosmetics on this build are fairly flexible.
    This build was actually inspired by the spell combo thread you made, so I've been eager to try many of those out.

    I gotta say though, there's some things that are screaming exploit.

    For instance:

    -No shield. I know i know, who needs a shield or health if you never get hit right? In that case I say DWGR for sure.

    -Why WoG? Obviously you dont need the damage from it and WoG and Force can act as a shield. They deflect all sorts of things: arrows, miracles, sorceries, etc. The timing for all those things is tough to get down, but it is doable.

    -Do you really need a weapon? I mean, whats the point really? You're pretty much going for 1 hit and 2 hit kills. I know a spear creates distance, but so do castings.

    -The armor. With that low of vitality, it matters not what you wear. Wear whatever you want to look good.

    -You have a lot of attunement slots to cycle through. I recommend doubling up. That way you reduce the number of required cycles without decreasing your "mana" so to speak. Your castings are your spells weapons, double up what you can.

    -What will you do if someone has a bow?

    I have a pure caster build, "attunement build" that might give you an idea of what I mean: Yojimbo Wizard

    The Attunement build thread Using Dexterity to Decrease Casting Times in PvP in my sig has some really nice discussion I've been muling over for a couple weeks now. There are some helpful links in the "For tha love a castings" thread as well.

    Whatever the case may be, you will either dominate or lose horribly in all of your fights. If thats fine with you then go for it. Fighting noobs I'd say your win ratio would be 85-95%, but against vets, I'm sorry to say it will be next to nil.

    The "Yojimbo" link does not show any spells attuned. There are 7 slots, but 10 was the objective.
    They would be as follows:

    18 Dark Beads / 16 Great Combustions / 16 Black Flames / 21 Force / 160? Fire Surge / 10? HCSM / 3?-6? Strong Magic Shield / etc, etc, etc

    I'm sorry I meant without a couple changes imo. They could be very small changes or simply a playstyle strategy adjustment, idk. I just stated my concerns. happy
