Noob mistakes you still make as a Lordran veteran?

Even after 10+ playthroughs via multiple characters, I still always seem to get my taint handed to me by the bed of chaos. I should know all the tricks and tips to get past this horrible beast. What are some other parts of dks you still suck at even though you've basically mastered the game? I also seem to never make it through blighttown without getting toxic a few times.

Thrust attacks in PvP (BSS R2 and Spears mostly).

They never seem to hit me, nor even be aimed towards me, yet they always hit me and I always forget that they do this and end up dying for the 452187th time to them.

Bed of Chaos is a load of . I think it just sometimes decides to kill me and I can't do anything about it.

Ornstein is a pain in the most of the time, because he loves to lure me with one of his longer attacks and then cancel them into butt slam, or that stab grab of his.

I sometimes voluntarily fight a 1v3 gank, even though the correct course of action would be to run away until you find monsters or can use the map to your advantage, or just gtfo that world.

It's funny that this is posted now, cause i was playing like an hour ago and my brain was in full retard mode. I died from the taurus demon, then from a hollow soldier, then from a back knight and then fell off a cliff.

I don't consider myself a veteran but dammit i'm better than THAT :x

Falling of cliff is like:

Hey, i dont care if you are in NG+++++++, you are gonna be falling till you learn to fly!
I lost like 6 humanities yesterday by falling near that wooden bridge in the parish. I was like: "Ok, im gonna jump like a pro and get my stuff asap" aaaaaaaaand im gone.

i frequently forget that even the lowly hollows are not to be underestimated. i've lost count to the number of times i have died to that one torch bearing hollow just outside the bonfire in the depths.

i will get summoned or summon some sunbros (because they like that) then bow and dragon roar or crash around the room in a display of testosterone and pure awesome. then run down the hall only to get thumped by that damn hollow. it's embarrassing.

this too, because gravity, it's not just a good idea, it's the law

On topic about falling off cliffs, I was taking on the Basin hydra like a champ. Until I slipped off the edge. Then I went to pick my humanity up and slipped off the edge again without touching my bloodstain.

I will always backpedal off of the cliff in the Forest. I don't know how many ours I've put into Forest Hunting. It almost seems like a waste that I learned how to fight gankers but never learned the surface area of the dang place.

I would say for me I always seem to hit the jump back button or swing my sword..Which is no big drama......but I alway's seem to do it when Im on a beam in Anor Londo or some where that is instent death when falling .....:affraid:

I get swarmed by hollows and hollow thieves.
And most of all, i get lost, everywhere. I can never find my way in the Undead Burg, or Parish, or the Depths...or Blighttown...or Izalith...or New Londo...or the Catacombs...or Sen's Fortress...or the Archives...or Oolacile...or the Painted World...and so on.

Got to be gravity. Once while farming slabs I managed to fall off the rickety bridge in new londo three times in a row...

I get killed by the forest npcs all the damn time. Especially that blasted bandit.

I still summon Beatrice for the four kings if i'm not going specifically for a darkwraith. I always fall off the cliff where the 2nd ent in the moonlight butterfree garden is at least once on every character. Always manage to fudge the cage key jump in sens once. The dogs in the lower burg kill me on a regular basis. Still for the life of me, cannot parry the axe wielding hollow warriors and will keep trying until i end up having to flask like a madman.

I'm noticing a lot of these are cliff related. Cliffs are my kryptonite

I always die attempting to parry that bosh'tet of an knight in the forest....just yesterday I died to him like 6 times in a row, sometimes I get too ****, dieing horribly agaisnt easy oponents, gravity also has a grudge agaisnt me, oh! and the worst, after I die, in the way to recorver my soul, I get nervous, like, really nervous, wich causes me to screw up and lose all those humanites and souls I took hours to farm.

Rolling of edges; still happens, will probably never stop happening.

You're not trying to parry their jumping attacks, are ya? Cuz those are unparryable!

BOC is ***** but its not so bad.... just a major annoyance.

^ depends on your toon's ability to take hits. If he's tanky, he'll take a beating but just suck it up and reach the root. If it's a glass cannon build... you gon' die.

I've lost count of the times I've drawn my bow only to find I've got my sword equipped and jumped forward off a ledge to my death. Another thing I'm good at doing is trying to use miracles with a catalyst equipped and vice versa.

at most it takes 6 runs, thats not SO bad.

I really can't understand how you guys can not beat the Bed of Chaos in 1 or 2 tries.

Hell, you don't even need armor, just a shield to block the root attacks
