What Music Do you Listen To
While playing the game of course. I generally turn my television volume all the way down, and listen to music ranging from Nirvana to Parkway Drive. Just kind of curious what everyone is into here.

Re: What Music Do you Listen To
I usually turn on my laptop and put on Game grumps or 2bestfriends if they have anything new out.
If not, then I listen to Odjbox, Pony, Gorillaz, video game soundtracks, or just any other nice sounding music I can find.

@Alchemy, not a huge fan of slipknot, but they can be good from time to time.
@Lunar, the only band/group/artist I've heard of that you listed is Gorillaz, and I love them.

You might wanna check out Pony. They sound almost like gorillaz. And Odjbox sounds like 1920s flapper music. But good.

Cool, I might have to do that. I'm listening to Gorillaz as we speak though.

Depending on my mood, I'll either pop in a movie and listen to that or go to youtube and listen to whatever suits the situation I'm in.

Re: What Music Do you Listen To
I really should put music on more often while playing DkS but I've usually only done so when farming (makes it so much more bearable).
The kind of music I would listen to would be mainly 'heavy' types of music like Skrillex, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse.... Probably some silly music for trolling or maybe some NES/SNES soundtracks.
When I post Dark Souls vids on youtube so far it's been accompanied by 8-bit NES tracks because it makes it funny in some way (to me anyway).

Re: What Music Do you Listen To
The legend of Zelda overworld themes help a lot in PVP. They make me feel like a bad***.
I also listen to Lustmord and Ancients when I'm doing PVE. Every time I go to kill Gwyn though I always play Bartholomew from The Silent Comedy, it only seems fitting.

Re: What Music Do you Listen To
Sometimes I ( when my wife is home and has left the living room for the night), wear headphones and listen to Podcasts ( not enough bandwidth here for streaming Internet radio while playing DkS or DS). - Podcasts range from. MOUNTAIN FOLK , ENDLESS BOUNDARIES JAM RADIO ( z88.9 , my fav, a Saturday night live broadcast ), eTOWN or MOUNTAIN STAGE.
During day, most likely the stereo will be blasting with just enough volume to hear footsteps in the game - CD player is usually loaded with bands like GRATEFUL DEAD, CABINET, WIDESPREAD PANIC, LES CLAYPOOL , PRIMUS, GOVT MULE, BOB DYLAN, BLACK SABBATH's 1st record( just acquired for 5 bucks at Wally World) and more
Have even been known to listen to NPR.

DkS and Three Shades of Black = <3
Lol, Skrillex is fun to listen to as well, dubstep boss fights, if you happen across the right song for the right boss, epic battles ensue...I used to listen to just Bartholomew as well when I first started playing the game.

Re: What Music Do you Listen To
im not too big on listening to music while i play, i just dont like new music and the 250 gigs of everything 2004 and earlier got worn out during my last deployment. i usually pull up the laptop and throw on some Anime or a movie for background noise, but its gotta be something ive seen atleast once before or ill get too distracted

CCR and NWA, pretty strange combination but I can dig it. Like I said my playlist normally ranges from alternative to heavy metal. I really like to listen to Pantera while fighting bosses. Gets the blood pumping even more.

Classic rock and punk rock mostly. Sometimes some disco or funk too.
