Same with 5 people spamming pursuers. I mean 5v1 it's a pretty sure thing you're gonna die, but the image of all 5 of them gangbanging you with pursuers just makes me lol.

Whips cannot be parried either, and I am under the same impression for the titanite Catch Pole's R2. It is impossible to perform a lunging attack with It, only the R2, and I have yet to be parried when using that move.

The BKH's R2 can be parried, so I assume the Catch Pole's R2 can as well.

The Letter X is right about whips and I'm all but certain that all jumping attacks are unparriable. The Dark Souls wikidot says jumping attacks are unparriable by npcs, but can be parried by other players. However, in this video from good ol' jblackmel aka MartyrsBrigade he says that while you can parry the strong attack from the Black Knight halberd (which has a jumping animation) you cannot parry any jumping attack. If neither shortdude 123 or the brigade can figure out how to parry it; I think you're safe assuming it can't be parried.

ok so i have a dumb question i know you cant parry a deadangle if you face your opponent normally but if you unlock and face a differnt angle can a dead angle be parried?

titanite Catchpole has the exact same animation for both R2 and forward+R2 (aka jumping attack) so it may just be that the Catchpole R2 cannot be parried, since it is absolutely 100% impossible to parry jumping attack and the animations on both attacks is exactly the same.

That sounds like a zen koan. It seems like it'd be reasonable. I shall meditate upon this...

The Catch Pole doesn't have a jumping attack, only the R2.

The only weapons that I remember, that both R2 and forward R2 are the same, are the clubs

Yes, like the titanite Demons, but the forward R2 is the same.

hmm just tested and you're right. It actually does not do the foward + R2. really lame.

I think pre patch you were able to do.

Guess there is no separate attack now =)

That would have made it much more interesting. It's still one of my favorite weapons though.

Not that i'm the best player in teh world, but, if you invande don't run away.

To be honest, Darkwraiths don't have to follow any code of honor. They can use any dirty tricks they can come up with to kill you.

Well, so can the Darkmoon, since their victims deserve the punishment.

If you want a honorful duel then your best chance is at summoning someone through a Red Sign Soapstone.

I hate how today when I was Darkmooning in the Garden this douche would always wait at my spawn point with a buffed katana and full havels. Then he would cast TwoP and start hacking without letting me buff my weapon.
Half the times though I managed to ran away to the Basin and kill him by dropping him.
