Lost Izalith active?
I swear, I'm chilling here at SL 125 and I'm constantly finding people to invade or I'm myself getting invaded, there's really no down-time of which to speak of.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
We're on different consoles but last time I was invading there I was able to get fights around every minute or so. I don't know how active that is for you, but for Izalith that's active.
As far as "no down-time" goes, I'd think that would be incredibly odd for Izalith to be that active.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
I mean like every minute. Not so active that I can't even think but pretty active.
As of this writing I'm just chilling in this guy's world as a red in front of the Bed's fog wall waiting for him and his phantom to come around, it's been 18 minutes since I invaded their world and they're still making their way through the level.

Yeah, that's not that odd at a high level around Izalith at least for me. Although most of the time when it's that active, it's over the weekend and not on a Monday.
Why not use a Dragonslayer Bow and knock the host or the phantom into the Dragon legs?

Re: Lost Izalith active?
This build doesn't have nearly enough Strength to use any Gbows, also I have no idea where they are and I'm not about to run through the lava to check.

Ah, maybe they're waiting for you to come around a corner so they can try to jump you.

Thought so, you should try luring them. It might not work though seeing as they have the patience to wait for a half and hour.
You should just throw dung pies when you see them and run.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
Well, that was disappointing. They come to me by the fog and I bow, they bow back. I fight the phantom first and kill the phantom. Bow to the slain phantom and get BS'ed by the host as I'm bowing to the phantom.

I'm going to assume you died by a hornet ring user with some type of curved sword?

Hornet Ring, no. Curved Sword, yes. Gold Tracer to be exact.

Just where are you Pendant? Also yeah whenever I go there I get gankers and questers. Just kill and leave little honor in there.

I'm using my red orb by the 1st bonfire, but I always spawn atop the 2nd bonfire, from there I run to the boss to make sure I don't get run past by anybody.

Good plan, gold tracer... that doesn't surprise me. Everyone really likes it as far as curved swords go.
No condemnation of play styles!
You should equip two caestuses and a and go crazy.

Knock them into the lava and enjoy the "you have no skill" hatemail. I am finding out that getting that stuff makes me laugh now. Reminds of that quester who though he could bs fish me near the fog gate there. I just bleed him out after this shield went up.

Yeah, I'm finding way too many questers here for my tastes. I'm going to be leaving the area soon. I wonder why they're all human though? Is it just for Kirk?

Re: Lost Izalith active?
Possibly, that really seems to be the only reason. Unless if they're having trouble getting to the red titanite slab.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
Kirk appears twice, Discharge can be a challenge, the Ruins are packed with nasty demons to kill loners, and how many people don't use phantoms as willing suicides to open the floor to kill the BoC? Seems reasonable to be human.

Yeah, I forgot people use phantoms as cannon-fodder for BoC. Good point, Soris.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
I've actually been DMing in Lost Izalith for a while now and it is hella active. What I do is switch between TotG bonfire and invade there but don't rest at the TotG bonfire and just bone back to the bonfire in Izalith if its too slow in the Tomb. The action is fantastic and I love the chase in Izalith since its so massive. Just be sure to keep the right gear with you.
I use my pure Tarkus PvP build and switch between using the sunlight maggot in the Tomb, and then Sanctus and OCR in Izalith. Had some pretty awesome fights so far, mostly japanese people so no hatemail sadly.

Re: Lost Izalith active?
I don't think I ever got chased by a demon. I just avoid them. And if you mean invaders as demons, I always go through Izalith hollow, so I have never been invaded there.
