    Dex/Int or Dex/Faith Build? Empty Dex/Int or Dex/Faith Build?

    Hi all! I'm trying to make either a Dex/Int or Dex/Faith PvP build at sl 120 centered around using a Balder Side Sword as my main weapon of choice. My idea was to get my Dex up to 45 so I would be able to take advantage of the faster casting times. If possible, I'd also like to be able to equip a Black Knight Shield in my off hand to protect against black flame/gc. The problem I'm running into is having enough points for Dex and either Int or Faith while not having abysmal End or Vit. Since this is the first time I've tried a build like this I'm asking for help on whether Int or Faith would work better for this type of character as well as how many points should I consider placing into the appropriate casting stat, how many for attunement along with End and Vit and any good ideas for equipment.

    I think INT works better as you can start as a Sorcerer or Wanderer and have a good starting baseline for stat distribution. Also, with Abyss spells like Dark Bead only needing 16 INT and buffs like CMW only needing 25 INT saves you a few levels as the Faith buffs are a little more costly.

    Sorcery gets a tiny cast boost at 45 so it's not really worth it.

    120 and 125 doesn't have much difference. If you plan on invading SL100 and below, go 120. If not, 125. With this, you can have a bit of both. 18 Faith for Emit Force and Force. One slot of Dark Bead is enough unless you plan on spamming. Have at least 40 Vit/1500hp to survive a BS, 30 End with the Fap Ring is usually enough unless you're wearing heavier armor.

    Awesome, I think I may go with something very similar to the first build you posted. Although I may try to accommodate 16 Strength to be able to use a better shield, but I'll probably have to sacrifice some End or Vit to do so. Any particular reason for the 4 Attunement slots? Or is it just because it's only one more point of Attunement to get access to it?

    Actually, after playing around with the character builder I noticed that using Wanderer as a base class actually nets me 4 more points in Resistance at sl 120 if points are distributed the same. The only reason I'm bothering to even mention this though is because the Wanderer starts with a lower Attunement stat (11) so it allows more flexibility in the long run on how many spell slots I want/need to make this build viable. Here's the build now at sl 114 (6 more points I can place into Att, Vit, or a combination of the two).

    With this, is there a good number of spell slots vs more HP I should be considering? Also what's the best catalyst to use once I hit 25 Int?
