Joined an online course about film making. Really liking so far, we're studying very old films (1920-1950)

The periodic symbol for tin is "Sn" so Sn+apple=snapple..... :mask-child:

Chem isn't too bad, but I'll always love me some bio ❤
    Calvin Cycle anyone? Sun

For some reason I have the really useless talent of naming any symbol with it's atom.

    Pb? Lead
    Sn? Tin
    Te? Telurium

I could do this for days. I hate/love that I have this ability, it's so useless.

Ah, well thats sorta.... that wasn't that funny actually (maybe because i had to have it explained to me... onto some horrendously bad jokes.

So, I listened to the new rolling stones song today, called something like 'doom and gloom'

I have to say, it didn't give me any satisfaction

It's quite hilarious how the chemical symbols don't match up to the English names of chemicals, seems like the only language where the problem occurs silly

And Andres, the Calvin Cycle is a more complex part of a large Beckon given to those who take middle school grade bio sad

Edit: Serious, I wasn't even aware that those old geezers could still pick their instruments up Shrug

The chemical symbols are to line up with the chemical's latin equivalent. You can draw the similarities from French, Ag which is Silver comes from argent which means money in French, so silvers. Easy to see really silly

D'oh, why did I forget that? I've always remembered the bit about Aurum yet I kept thinking English was being weird and has weird names for chemicals.
