What do you think I used to make this? Why should I waste levels in Att to equip spells I'm never going to use?

Either way, you're wasting stats, your DGH does more damage normal +15 silly

Show me how to make it do more than 660 damage with +15 vs the 758 I'm getting with Enchanted +5

Don't get smart with wyrm if you dont even know about split damage. Enchanted has higher AR yes but because of the way damage is calculated having a single damage type will end up doing more damage be cause AR has incresing returns. Two hits for 350 do less than one with 600.

The problem is split damage. While your enchanted says 758 AR, it's something like 329 physical and 329 magical damage. So when you smack an enemy with is, the damage goes through 2 filters. Say then enemy has 100 phys. def and 100 mag. def. You lose 200 points of damage, doing only 558~ dmg a hit. Where as a +15 would do 661 pure phys. and lose 100, therefore doing ~561 damage a hit. Note that this is just an example used to make a concept clear.

    Hope this helps.

*EDIT* I keep getting sniped. crap.

I'm pretty sure I can type out whatever I want, as long as it's not a breach of the ToS. I don't care who any of you are, or how much time you've wasted building up your pristine reputation on a video game forum. Perhaps if you're friend had given me some numbers or some form of input beyond "lolno", I wouldn't have committed the heinous crime of asking him to elaborate.

Someone's got attitude. Not that that's a bad thing. But please, for the sake of everyone, try to keep this positive.

I like the fact that you want to use the DGH, though. It's a fun weapon.

It's cool. AR is very misleading so it's obvious many players don't know this. Pretty much the best way to use enchanted is to have very low Str/Dex and go all Int. But DGH has a B scaling in Str when +15, so it gets maximum damage at 46 Str. It's pretty much like having a lightning Zweih with 40/40, a normal +15 is the best option to make your stats worth the spending and would most likely do more damage

I was originally going to cap Str at 40, but figured I may as well just pump it to 46. This isn't a "competitive" pvp build. It's more of a log on for two hours and randomly invade people. Maybe pull out the Dragon King GA or dual DGMs if it's late and I'm bored.

It's meant for fun. The only thing I know how to do in a game.

Fun is always a good thing. I have a dual-shield build. I love beating the hell out of people with it. Also, Smough's Hammer is a helluva good time.

Sorry, I have to apologize. I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing you, rather I simply thought you were being a bit confrontational with someone who was trying to help you after you asked for advice. It doesn't have anything to do with "reputation" or the fact that we've been here longer.

It is disappointing that +15/Crystal will beat every other upgrade path (with proper stats), but that is the way it is. And, +15 can be buffed.

    Lol.

Anyways, here http://mmdks.com/10tm You've got 30 levels to spend on whatever you'd like untill 120.

@ ghadis, don't be sorry. OP was telling us off (or at the very least being unnecessarily confrontational) out of ignorance.

@OP its not about rep. Its that people here tend to be very knowledgeable. Wyrm is very knowledgeable. Rather than launching into a self gratifying speech about how "you don't care about rep" and demanding proof from people trying to help based on a build calculator that doesn't account for game mechanics like defense, crit damage, counter damage, cast time ect, perhaps you should ask for an explanation.

For the record, I'd guess the enchanted version at 50 int would deal around 350-400 damage (depending on the opponents armor naturaly,) where the +15 will deal about 450, can be buffed and saves you 50 points in int.
