    Anyone know if this shortcut remains open through gameplays? Or do I need to reopen it every NG+?

    I think that makes sense? I was Chaos in my NG+ and opened the shortcut, but after I was done with everything and about to fight Gwyn, I joined the Sunbros so I could get Gwyns sunlight bolt in NG++. Since I did this, will I have to rejoin the Chaos Servants and reopen it?

    Definitely need to re-open every playthrough.

    30 humanity is nothing if you know how to farm it online/depths/totg. The worst part is standing there feeding 30 humanity 1 at a time imo. I'm in darkwraith and get to look forward to feeding 80 in total to Kaathe so count yourself lucky silly

    However, if you remain as a Chaos Servant+2 you can open the shortcut by just touching the wall each NG.

    Lol, yeah, it's not the farming that bothers, but as you said, feeding them to the spiderlady...ooone byyyy oooneee. God, I hate it...bloop bloop bling...bloop bloop bling...

    I would have stayed Chaos but needed the Sunlight Beam miracle...actually no I wouldn't have...lol, I need the Darkmoon Blade miracle too. But after that I'll have the achievement so I'll probably go back to Chaos after that. ^_^
