When they stop finding people to participate in them, then there's too many.
Edit: Although you have a major confound in this study. People who are tired of polls might be more likely to avoid the poll. Also, people who like polls might be more likely to visit. I call shenanigans on this whole research strategy!

Somethings arent appropriate for polling, but other threads could beneift from a poll.
